This reminds me of a good friends story! Her ex husband went for a "run" and didn't return by the time he had classes at college, she called him over and over and almost reported him missing until she went to his parents.... So she went to his parents and they straight up told her that he sent them an email saying he wanted a divorce. It was so crazy. They haven't spoken since she told him be safe and love you before his "run"!😂😂😂

He has a healthy son. I dated a guy for 2 and a half years, in person, while he was in the marine corps. He was a really broken individual and would lie constantly, first about small things and then eventually he would cheat on me maliciously. He would scrub me from his social media so he could go sleep with other people. I stayed because I believed in his potential to be a better person. Eventually he asked me to move to Rhode Island with him (from NC) when he got out of the military and went to college. I transferred all my school stuff, got rid of all of my possessions (including my bed, because I thought I was packing up my tiny car and moving), sent my animals to live with my parents and stayed with friends for the 3 months leading up to us moving after my lease on my house ended, working 60+ hours a week between 3 jobs to save up. 2 weeks before I was supposed to move he ghosted on me and I was homeless for 10 months and going through heartbreak without my own space or my fur babies. Every single year during the holiday season he messages me and tells me how bad he messed up and how stupid he was to leave me blahblahblah. Obviously over the years I have paid him 0 attention and given him no new chances but he tells me to "get over it" because "it's been years" and texts me weird shit such as "when are you going to be free this month, I'm coming to see you." Like naaaaahhh dude

I watched both videos and I went through a similar situation.. I dated someone for about eight months as he started to ignore my text messages and cancelled dates, always using different excuses. He always told me that he was busy in his job and he got promoted recently, working in another town he had to live from monday til friday. My best friend always said he is a liar and she suggested that we should go to his old workplace and see if his car is there 😅 We did it and his car was in a parking lot in front of the building.. so he lied to me about his promotion. I never texted him again and about a year later he wrote me a letter, saying he wants to talk to me. I didn't reply because already met my boyfriend then. So this happens to many people and I think people who ghost someone for no reason are crap. Most of them may have a secret or live a double life. She was a senior in hs and last summer she was transferring from hs to college. We had gotten into an argument and the last thing she had said to me was "I guess we are not best friends after all." I apologized and I gave it a few days and I would text her every 3 days to check up on her with no response and just left on read. That was it. She had blocked me shortly after that. So she ghosted me in July and that was it and I cried and it was very hard to move on. I had cried on the first day of school. Fast forward to late feb of this year and she had added my snap and im like woah what the heck? so we ended up FaceTiming and she said she missed me blah blah blah. The next day I saw that she removed me on snap and I had texted her on groupMe and I was like idk what you want anymore but I am done. She left me on read and blocked me. I deserve better

Sometimes it is your fault. I’m a guy and if a guy I know gets ghosted and they tell me their story I can sometimes see where they absolutely caused the entire thing. Friends that are females to who have talked to me about being ghosted also sometimes hold some of the blame. I’m 1000% against ghosting, I condemn it in every way one can and I believe it is one of the worst things you can do to another person. But to avoid things like that in the future it’s important for us to analyze the past and see what may have caused it. There are assholes out there, you must go to every extent to protect yourself from them

Its a long story, if you are interested read it :) I was in a long distance relationship for 4 years, saw each other 10 times only. He was a friend of my family in that country. Suddenly after a very normal loving conv. He blocked me changed his number and disapeared . I was very depressed tried reaching him and making new profiles just to get to him with no use. After i kinda moved on, a year later a girl added me, I accepted (cause i was stupid af) and she just started the conv. With, and i quote: i am getting married to "asshole" and i just wanted u to know. And blcoked me. Q few hours later he UNBLOCKED me and said are u going to congrat me, we are gettimg married on yourbirhday this year. That killed me. I went through a very similar situation: met a study abroad student from the UK at my school, instant connection, basically dated for 2 months/saw each other everyday before he went back. we talked for almost a full year over Facetime, text, calls, etc. I sent him packages and letters and literally wanted to move there to stay with him. in March 2019 he finally texted me back after ignoring my texts for a week and told me he had moved on. it SHATTERED me. though I think I was being unrealistic about that relationship, it was still painful because I had never connected with someone else to that extent. now, we’re on good terms, but I still wonder what our relationship would be if we lived closer. glad you’re happy now (-: thank you for sharing

Personally, I wouldn't see it as strange that an ex is "stalking" my social media. It's curiosity. Doesn't mean he wants to be with you. Lol something similar happen to me about 4 years ago as well. I had applied to colleges near him and everything so we could be closer. Then I found him talking to another girl on twitter and her tweeting all about him. I confronted him about it and he just never responded. I was so heart broken, but got over it. I ended up being happy that it didn’t work out with him. Then he messaged me like a year ago saying how he really regretted it and wanted to apologize because his wife cheated on him and he has cancer.

another way you can tell if you've been blocked on whatapp is on the top it will say when the person has last looked at their app "last seen on...." if that line is no longer showing, you've been blocked.

OMG, I thought I was the only one who got into this kind of situation - because in all of my past relationships we would end things with reasons. This happen to me, 3 years back and ever since this happen, i never look at guys the same anymore , it's always me being skeptical over them. I met him on a train back to my hometown, and we clicked like long lost best friends. We exchanged phone numbers and we got really close. My parents loved him like their own son. His parents met my parents, and everything seem all well. But after his studies, he needed to go back to his home which was 200 km away from me. So, we had a long distance relationship right after. But when he moved back to his hometown, everything escalated real quick - our text became shorter, he didn't want to go to dates, or even celebrate our one-year anniversary and even doing a surprise birthday celebration for me (found out the truth from my best friend). Yet, when i confronted with his sister (as both our families were quite close), she told me everything was A-ok, and his brother (the guy i was dating) said we were practically fine and i was just to busy to go on dates with him. Then right after a few weeks, he started to ghost me. Weeks turns to months. When i text or call him, there was never a call back or a text back. I kept blaming myself as he did not response to anything. Eventually, i got fed up and told myself "if he needs me, he'll know where to find me". After 5 months, my best friend asked me to try and text him and ask for closure as he has been ghosting from me for 5 months turning 6. So i did, and the text back i got from him was "i'm sorry, i never felt perfect whenever i was with you. It was never you, it's me. i hope that we can still be friends." & thanks to him today, moving on and finding new guys where never easy.

My ex use to ghost me when he wanted to sleep with other people and not feel guilty about cheating, but he was still cheating. Now he does the same thing to his wife and still is tying to get back with me. There’s a lot more to the story. It’s a just whole debacle.

I had the exact thing happened to me years ago too! I unfriended and unfollowed him on all of my social media after that. But just last year he requested to follow me again on IG and DM’d right after, he was like “how are you? I miss our talks. When will I see you again?” And my replies was just random emojis. He probably just doesn’t want to do long distance with you anymore and instead of being upfront and saying that he just blocked and ghosted you. It’s screwed up but for guys it’s easier to just ghost 🤷‍♀️

I think he really cared about you, but he got too afraid that you would break up with him because of the distance, but he was too chicken to tell you how he felt or admit he was afraid, so he just cut you off “cold turkey” without confrontation.
