Wow, this is very kind of you! Certainly feel free to make any recordings you'd like; together we can get more readings out there, which can only be helpful as I see it. I love Nicoll's work especially, and am also reading other authors concerning Gurdjieff's teachings. I am planning to record Portrait of a Vertical Man (a biography of Nicoll) and to finish the Commentaries. Then I'd like to do A Pupil's Journal by Nott.

I contacted Eureka Editions to ask for permission and they suggested that I include the copyright info in the video notes along with a link to where people can buy the book. :) So sorry I somehow didn't manage to respond sooner.

I am in the process of writing an intro to The Work, yesterday I had a puplic presentation. Like Gurdjieff did, I write and let people read I observe them and myself, from that material I can write. Material like this really helps sorting and spreading ideas that can help people.

it is just like the title says, simple explanations. very useful for someone like myself that gets carried away from the foundational steps of the work by habitually becoming too theoretical. just a little wary of the credit nicoll gives here to those around us- i think some people, such as those that are raised by alcoholics, mechanically feel guilt or take the blame even for interactions they ought not to feel guilty for and are already hypersensitive to what people say to them regardless of if what was said is true or whether or not the speaker had the listener's well being/best interest in mind when they said it. some people really do have trouble standing up for themselves or holding their ground when they really ought to. just a little insight from someone that lives in the world's largest trailer park. but i do see the value in at least considering all of what nicoll says- after all it wasn't everyday that G gave someone permission to independently teach fourth way ideas!
