I wish Whoopi had the chance to be more of this cadence on the show. Of course she can’t. This is what I liked about her late night talk show she had for a year or two. This soft roll.
@Michelle69988326 ай бұрын
@kimberlyenglehardt5770 If by "roll," you mean role. I don't think Whoopi plays any role (which is kinda ironic since she is an actor, singer & comedian). Whoopi wears her heart on her sleeve. She's an open book. And the more I love her for it.

Marvelous interview, we need more positivity amidst all the muck out there. Partly bc I’m a Berkeley gal, Whoopi has long been one of my favorite heroes. Yeah she “got famous” but she’s so thoroughly normal too. When I was a kid & teen we were pretty well aware of her. So Berkeley proud! Got the book on audible for an upcoming kinda long & stressful trip, Whoopi’s voice is my fave. Can’t wait. Gotta add, my lovely dad died in 2015, and I’ve been happy he didn’t have to experience you know who. Omg he would’ve been so depressed. It’s impossible to really think about. And like you, my Mother knew how much I loved, appreciated and understood that w/o her I would not be the me that I am. And I knew how much she loved me. And yes, my Mom also made so much "magic" happen while raising all four of us. Granted, I also had a beloved Father.

Your Mom left you and your brother with a rich legacy! I have to say that single mothers with no dad in the home are dedicated to their kids.
