I agree with what she said about talent. I honestly never thought I had artistic talent as a child; I didn't know how to draw well and I was below average at singing. But I wanted to learn to draw well, so I applied myself and began observing what other people did. (I feel like my "artistic talent" began when my teacher liked how evenly I colored a map.) I wanted to perform on stage singing, so I learned from the radio and tried to match pitch as best I could. (I went on to learn four instruments.) People are like "oh, you're so talented" but I honestly just tried.

I so agree with what you say about 'filler signs' - I've always felt that some signs get 'cooler' styling than others... The Taurus chibi looks adorable, I've never seen anyone create a speed paint while using Illustrator! I'm not used to the program and it gives me a lot of frustration but, it inspires me to see you create art this way.
