Try a Mechanical Horn Next!

What's the loudest one
@aerhardtКүн бұрын
@@nics-systems-electricPretty much any mechanical horn is going to be loud. Look for an older one with the highest current draw you can find if you want the loudest. Anything from later than the mid 90’s is going to be raspy junk. The loudest and most obnoxious would probably be an AC horn, but obviously you can’t do that on a scooter.

I mounted a 10-inch electric solenoid-driven vibrating bell on my bicycle several years ago--mine was an old school bell that was 6 V DC--and also had problems getting it to ring properly if it wasn't mounted just right.

@exkalibur25caКүн бұрын
It looks like you have the plunger on the bell pointed down. Turn it around to point up and it won't go off when going over bumps! Also, needs a Graham White E-Bell!

A fire bell on a scooter? And I thought I’d seen it all BUT it has sort of been done on The Gray Line’s tour trolleys; back in the late 90’s Gray Line Tour bus company ran a number of trolley style buses on the South Island for a short bit that used an Edwards Adaptabel bell in place of the horn. They weren’t in business too long all but all the same the bells on them were fun to hear. Amazing what you can do with a 24 volt battery and some wire.

Ok I officially hate KZbin. They’ve deleted my comment twice. You could put one of those cheap 12VDC mini mechanical “air raid” sirens from the website you usually buy your fire alarm parts on (I tried to say the name but my comment was deleted for it). This is another fun video. I like your serious work videos, but I also like the videos where you just mess around and have fun just as much.
