Sister mera baby bhi 770 gm ka hua hai .wo bhi pre mature baby hai. Use bhi apne jaisa bataya wo aisa hi struggle kiya hai. Filhal 14 din beet chuke hai. But mera beta abhi fight kar raha hai. Apnea hota hai but thik bhi ho jata hai. Doctor ne shuru me bola ki baby ke bachne ke 5 percent chance hai but recovery hone ke baad doctor ne bola ki baby ke bachne ke 30 percent chance ho gaye hai. Jaise jaise din bitenge bachcha strong hoga. Please advise

In the NICU, premature babies undergo various tests: Blood tests include the complete blood count to check for anemia and infection, blood gases to measure oxygen and carbon dioxide, blood glucose to monitor sugar levels, and electrolytes to check salt and mineral balance. Imaging tests include ultrasound to examine the brain and organs, X-rays to look at the lungs and tube placements, and echocardiograms for heart ultrasounds. Respiratory monitoring includes pulse oximetry to measure oxygen levels, capnography to monitor carbon dioxide, and arterial blood gases for detailed oxygenation information. Screening tests check hearing and vision to detect impairments and retinopathy of prematurity. Infection screening includes a sepsis workup with blood, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid cultures, and C-reactive protein to indicate infection. Other tests include bilirubin levels to check for jaundice, newborn screening tests for metabolic and genetic disorders, and EEG to monitor brain activity. The specific tests performed depend on the baby's condition and any complications.

My baby is also undergoing same situation. He is born with 780 gms weight. After one month at NICU, he is been put on ventilator. His infection is high. Number of blood transfusions has been done. For how many days your baby was put on ventilator?

For 2.5 months he was switching between the ventilator and C-PAP... Then he came on C-PAP before 17 days of discharge he started breathing independently. Sending prayers for your baby.
