Thank you for always showing clearly how to use ”to不定詞”, Nic-sensei. By the way, as for the 4th example (疑問詞+to), I was wondering why you didn't give us the "when to" example like "I don't know when to start". In addition to that, I'd like to know why you don't have "why to"構文 some other time if you'd like.

Your lecture is easy to understand, Nick先生. I sometimes confuse "have O do" with "have O to do" and "get O to do" in English conversation cause native speakers talk very fast and I'm just a beginner. Is it possible for them to forget to say "to" in "get O to do" ? How do they understand the necessity/non-necessity of "to"?
@ニック式英会話3 жыл бұрын
It's not like we think about whether we need "to" or not, we just choose structures. We never drop the "to" in "get 人 to 動詞"^^ As for 「have 人 動詞(してもらう)」 and 「have 名詞 to 動詞(しなきゃいけない〜がある)」, it's usually easy to understand from the context. We say "I have work to do." (work is not person so we don't get confused) etc.

This is often the case when I take online English lessons. The system allows you to freely choose the materials you want to use, but since I do this every day, I often can't decide which ones to choose.

Ask not what your country can do for youをDon't ask....に「修正」して減点した先生がいたらしいですよ。(笑)
