So I'm guessing by cutting she means contouring, and the way she is doing it is not how you contour, but that's how you bronze your face and add colour to it. The way she is doing it will in now way define your cheekbones, which is what contouring is meant to do. Plus she is using a warm bronzer, which you don;t use for contouring.

Cutting is a normal word used in India by Professional Makeup Artists that work on film sets and shoots. But you wouldn't know that cause you're a Mancunian.
