Well, I was a lesbian for 15 years, before Jesus Christ delivered me from the behavior...and I don't get this! I just don't see happy when I look at Niecy in this clip. What I see is the face of a woman who spends a lot of time drinking booze, trying to convince herself that this manner of living is what she wants! Her eyes are almost blood shot; not clear and bright as the eyes of one who's truly happy and content...as I became when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior in October, 1991 and was then empowered to turn away from that addictive behavior. Niecy keeps looking at Jessica while she's trying to answer each question or comment from Tamron. That's not love...That's being controlled by another person's will for you! I never pictured Niecy in a situation like this! It's as weird to me as Wanda Sykes being gay and hooked up with a white woman! Each of those two black women just seemed to have a healthier mentality! I think that, perhaps, Niecy Nash was either raped or just plain abused by men in earlier years of her life. I was raped, at gunpoint, by the father of my only child in 1975...about a year before I started going to A.A. meetings. During the years before that, there were other times when he would hit me, or threaten to kill me. When I became pregnant for the second time, as a result of his raping me, I had an abortion because he said it wasn't his and he wouldn't support the child. I didn't want another child to take care of all by myself. A couple years before he raped me, I had trusted my brother's older best friend to drive me home one night after I'd had too much to drink. But rather than do that, the man bypassed my house and took me to his place, where he gave me more liquor and then had his way with me. I have never been able to feel anything but disgust for his doing that to me. For he was not someone I would have been remotely interested in! So, after those two incidents and having killed my unborn child, I determined to never again sleep with another man. That was 46 years ago and I never did, to this day, allow another man to get that close to me. A life without another heterosexual relationship...a life as a lesbian...seemed my self imposed punishment for having aborted my child! I never got over having done that, to this very day. But when I accepted Jesus Christ as my very personal Savior, in 1991, I had to forgive myself because God had already forgiven me for that and every other sin I'd committed or would commit in the future...through my acceptance of Christ, the author of my salvation. I tried to resume that lesbian behavior six months after I wholeheartedly accepted Jesus. But it only one more time for me to get that it just wasn't who I was anymore. The old me had died. I was indeed a new creature in Christ! I believe that Niecy Nash will eventually come to her senses and realize that Jesus is the person she needs to make her feel safe...not some woman who dresses and carries herself like a man! It's plain to see that Niecy Nash is well blessed with feminine attributes. In time, she may realize her need for a real male...not some wanna be sporting a crew cut hairdo and wearing trousers! She has children, for Pete's sake! She knows the satisfaction of having the real thing...not a replica, to satisfy her needs as a well endowed woman! I pray that she will ultimately realize her need for God in her life, through Jesus Christ and turn away from lesbianism! Amen and amen!
