I bought the microfone for iphone, but recently i bought the iphone 15 and it is USB-C, do i have to buy the one with USB-C or can i use an adaptor?

yea... I'm gonna cross that bridge soon if and when I get the iPhone 16..... I'd buy a new one with USB C... I know.... it'll be a waste... perhaps sell it so that it covers the cost for the new one? And perhaps upgrading to a slightly better model too? But to answer your question... logically an adaptor would work but it would be awkward no?

is it possible to record stereo with these 2 mics? I tried here, but it seems that they mix the audio from both mics, so even when I set each track for each mic, the audio graphic looks the same.

doubt it's possible with these mics at such price points. A quick google shows that the DJI Mic is able to do so as it has two recording modes - Mono and Stereo

yea it does...it's a plug and play. That's how I did it here... just the camera app with the mic receiver plugged in.

lala... lol there's a USB C version for this mic(I got the lightning version coz....iphone user XD). Get the USB C verstion. and you're good to go already XD The lightning version will eventually fade into the abyss since iPhone 15 is also on USB C now.

Can you use both mics at the same time? For example, i plan to put one near my face to capture my speech and the other near the exhaust of my motorcycle to capture the sound of the motorcycle/ environment. Great vid!

I did get it to work actually. =P After several usage... it is pretty much plug and play. plug in the receiver to the phone and switch on the mic... both will have a fixed blue light and you;'re good to go recording. Well at least that's how it is for the iPhone... I believe it should be the same for Androids too... Which step are you having trouble with btw?

@@nielgoh I got it to paired and both the receiver and the mic has a fixed blue light. I tested it while recording myself like blowing on the mic or speak, also when I tried to listen to the recorded clip there's no sound unless I remove the receiver and the sound in just from the phone... I really need to have this work for tomorow for some fun interview with friends and family in a wedding...I'm frustrated. Thank you so much for time.

@@nasroullahdinally5140 whoops pardon the late reply. not sure if I did mention it in the video but yea you gotta detach it to review the video with audio on your phone. Makes you skeptical about whether it works right? but it does work as it should. I think it's because it being plugged in moves both incoming and outgoing video to the device(programming issue i suppose) But I'm guessing you got what you needed from the event?

@@nielgohwhen the mic is plugged in it won’t play back the audio cause the phone thinks the device is headphones. It overrides the phones speaker. All these types of mics do that.

Lol had to check back my editing files..... Uhm nope.... the whole video is original output from the iPhone mic and the Boya mic... no adjustment or enhancement made to the audio tracks during post edits.

As per manual it works when taking calls on Zoom and all. Not sure if OBS picks up the mic hardware via USB. My personal opinion I think it should but I think you gotta find someone who really tried it :/

@@nielgoh this why i doubt buying wireless mic without any trials with the other vloggers. This the problem of gopro there are so many cheap accessories which is also good to use for vlogging but many of them also are not compatible with gopro only the expensive one.
