Eros Ramazzotti is undoubtedly one of the greatest Italian artists as well as performing all over the world (like Laura Pausini for example) unlike Vasco Rossi who is the greatest Italian rock star and potentially one of the greatest worldwide but he for his choice performs only in Italy... ☺ Ciao!

Vasco Rossi needs the people to understand his lyrics. Its music is rock, but strongly Italian way. And he's a 'peculiar' person, that's why an international engagement wasn't possible for him; not really a choice.

Also I remind you about Zucchero, with a different attitude when it comes to personal problems, who has a huge carer as well and a rock genre more international, even if he sings in Italian.
