1:51 That should count as a taunt, petting the pod mid-combat, let alone mid-combo. same with the slow walk blade juggle at the start. Be cool if there was an "Intimidation" Slow walk pod fire effect that if you do enough damage fast enough it might cause the enemies to panic, I know I've seen Forest Kingdom MLs scatter and cower while quaking in fear after smashing a group of them all at once.

Its wild how simplistic you think the combat is, then you see someone like Kudo stringing together nice juggling combos like this. Sometimes I need to ease off the button mashing. I cant wait for the Nier Replicant remake later this year.

I just wish Platinum gave us more insentive to use combos like this. They should've added a combo meter like Bayonetta in MGR:R and NieR. Simply gain more money/exp the more varied your moves are. Great video nonetheless, keep em coming.

in practical situations, you'd be pretty hard pressed doing these combos. enemies would die too fast, might get your combo interrupted, perspective shifts during bullet hell segments would make it more difficult as well.

There are weapons in the game that create explosions on contact with bullets. I use them so i can keep my combos going even in bullet hell

you can find Pod C (missile) in the desert area, Pod B (laser) can be fished for in the flooded city area.

Just a quick question KUDO, how do you make all the enemies stronger, tougher and higher level, Im level 70+ now and it's a bit too easy now... I hope they last as long as the one you have in your video.

I'm using debug features in this to prevent enemies from taking damage while I fight them, you unlock debug menu and debug mode after clearing your 3rd playthrough.

thanks KUDO. I got ending ABCDE now, didn't delete my save file. I noticed I have the Debug Room, and I still cannot lock enemy's health like yours, nor using debug menu outside the debug room... do I have to delete my save...? I'm playing the PC version with controller...

you have to go into the debug menu to lock enemy HP, it's the option that says "flag tools", you can toggle it in there. don't delete your save data!

How did you manage to pull of a finisher (0:22). I could easily do this in the demo, but for some reason it doesn't work anymore.

They're triggered by putting enemies into the "stun" state. Certain weapons have passive abilities called "Stun up" that help increase the chances of it triggering. Weaker enemies tend to go into stun much faster than enemies stronger than you, as well.

I did, but somehow I cannot use finishers in there. I cannot even practice through chapter select, because no mettar which chapter I choose, I kill everything by just looking at it.
