I remember walking into this room during my playthru and stopping dead in my tracks. Probably the most sorrowful and beautiful scene in the game if you played the first Nier.

I love the way you slowly panned the camera around at the end there. The lunar tears looked really beautiful up close. Not to mention you ended the video before the music could start its loop again, it gave the video a nice ending

Its so nice having old memories from noer gestalt. I was actually happy to see that hut again when I completed that side quest. It also quite saddended me when I remembered that one ending (Spoiler) Where the MC had to either kill Kaine to keep her from turning into a shade or to sacrifice his entire existence (which deletes every single save file of that game) to turn Kaine back into a human.

based on the fact that Kaine's hut is underneath a modern city, my guess is that replicant society lasted long enough to industrialize before collapsing, so she definitely would have died one way or another:)

@@shanedixon5845 Yeah it kinda weirded me a little bit because Emil's cave is so deep but then Kaine's shack is kinda open air but still a cave nonetheless. Also if the replicant manage to build such civilization then they're kinda awesome considering they can't reproduce and it would take a lot of man power and time. Edit: Some of the structures might be a recreation of machine lifeforms trying to mimic the architecture of the old world.

SPOILER Once I got there It made thought that Automata is not only happening in the same world but also the same place 8 thousands years later. After all we got the desert, the forest, the plains and the copied city with the same exact library where the original Popola and Devola were. It actually makes a lot of sens considering that only a modern civilisation has been built with time on top of it. I love this link in the side quest... in memories of 1st Emil and Kainé's hard life.

Sorry if this is year too late you problaby know the answer by now but the house is the home of one of the main characters in Gestalt/Replicant and the flowers were her favorite flower amd the song is her theme
