Tip 11: Get a spear. They are incredible in this game, especially the spear dodge, counterattack. I thought launching enemies into a mid-air juggle with a small sword was the way to go until I started acquiring spears. An Overclock chip with a spear unleashes tidal waves of punishment.

It has been mentioned already and the game itself mentions it, too. The game does not end after "beating" it once. In fact, the game only really STARTS after beating the game twice (each time from a different perspective). It's like the developer saying "Here, this is the core story (Circle 1 & 2) and this is what is really going on (everything after it.) So yea. Enjoy the story.

Just started playing and I decided to sell anything I thought I didn't need at the time, I had 2 OS chips so I sold one and... game over, system crashed and I was booted back to the title screen. The game completely ended with a terrible rating also 😆😂

Yasuo Bankai 風 yeah. and the fact the prologue doesn't auto save. died twice so i used easy mode and auto chip to grind through the first part to find out there's even crazier stuff. that's like almost impossible even on normal.

I just finally got into this game yesterday and had the same frustration with the prologue, couple hours wasted. Once getting passed that, oh boy I'm having fun, and it doesnt take long to unlock and discover ample save opportunities

@@Mike-ix5sv glad I found this comment. I’ve been looking forward to playing this for ages only to find I died twice at the two spinning cog thingies and had to redo the prologue. So disheartening. I’ve literally never played a game where I’ve had to heal myself mid battle. Also, I tried to hone my dodge skills (when the robots eyes turn red) and I’m getting mixed results, sometimes it kinda looks like it works and other times it clearly doesn’t and I get whooped. Frustrated as F***. 2 hours gone but I’ll try again tomorrow on easy.

@@ScruffyDiamond honestly that's what I did, that first boss battle has a steep learning curve, dodging and attacking along with learning to utilize the pod. I go easy setting with auto chips equipped for the prologue, after first boss switch to a more challenging difficulty. I found the standard difficulty relatively easy after the prologue, just upgrade chip capacity early and often, upgrade chips and weapons and enjoy. Listen to the suggestion at the end of the game and play through it multiple times.

That difficulty curve is so weird I never died once before the final boss but then I ran out of healing items and suddenly I'm stuck dying over and over again. By the way for the next playthrough you will have no healing items as well so good luck discovering the entire plot. Yeah like you said you can turn down the difficulty but I think is not quite good implemented.

you can just exit the game and it will boot in the last place you saved. I also stuck in a place like yours, fighting Eve was a pain since he only plays long range, I got careless and my healing went to 0 and got stuck. So yeah, just exit the game.

Prologue Boss trouble, go to Easy when you reach the boss, then back to whatever level you want after. No Save during the Prologue was VERY annoying.

I've been playing this on hard/very hard... I never felt easy or normal mode... I just beat the first boss and discovered everything u said... in about 5 seconds after the first cinematic boss. Wish me luck though! This is all brand new to me... I shall erase my memory to play it again if that's good...
