Niesen IS the Swiss Pyramid!

Rising 1700m above Mülenen and Lake Thun in the Bernese Alps, Switzerland, you can reach Niesen by train or car. Hike it or take the funicular! Or mix the two as there's a half way point. An amazing hike, an amazing day.
The funicular station is right by the Mülenen train station which has regular connections to the main Swiss network.
The hike is not technical but does need a level of fitness as you're climbing 1700m. But worth it.

Great videography Gavin. Did you know that before the 19th century people believed that dragons and demons lived on the mountains? Switzerland has beautiful scenery, definitely want to visit there some day.

Great video mate I’m going to do it in the next few days how long to get to the top would you say in the Forrest route for a sunrise? I would then take the scenic route back down 👍🏼

Cheers for the comment. Just starting on KZbin so appreciate it. Timing will depends on fitness levels but the signposts were about 5hrs I think. I reckon that's about right for average fitness.
