I'm an Israeli girl and i was visiting Berlin i was at this party and a nice guy came up to me while we were dancing he told me he is from Palestine and i told him I'm an Israeli i smiled at him gave him a hug and we kept dancing. I love people, i really do not care what is their religion or origin. i was volunteering one year at hospital in Jerusalem and many other girls volunteered too. i didn't care if they were Arab or Palestinians i helped them and made their day better i love people it's hard to see media dividing us like that i love my Arab friends i love my Jewish family and my Christian best friend why does the news and many people see identity more than israelis actually do it's sad. ✌️🌷

There are so many similarities in our cultures, languages, customs, yet this constant agitation is always there, dividing us. Even those Muslims who are not of Jewish roots are the children of Ismael, so we are cousins... and if you want to see it in a religious context, what happened with Ismael and Yitzhak in the end was that they made peace. I don't like looking at things from a religious perspective unless it's peaceful- people arguing about whose religion is right and whose is wrong, when at the end of the day we are all human, whether or not one even believes in a creator, we all have the instinct to love our fellow humans, but that innocence gets sucked out of people as they are taught to fear one another. You know, during Ramadan, it is forbidden to even argue, so I don't understand why this is such a difficult month in Israel and Palestine. I had an idea for a project where Israeli children and Palestinian children write letters to each other and do exchange programmes with each others' families but I think that anyone willing to participate already has their hearts clean of hatred! I watched a documentary about a project like that and some of it was beautiful, but other parts were so sad, some of the elders' hearts were so hardened, passing on that fear and mistrust through the generations on both sides.
