The Quran says that one of the signs of day of judgment is that the Jews will return to Israel. I think the bible says something similar and thats what you probably meant. first of all i write this as a moderate leftist from ISRAEL. Who told you that what he say is the truth? this is his point of view. every one of us served in the army for 3 years. personaly i served 3 years as combat soldier one year in Lebanon. most of combat soldier in the IDF dont have to be agressive in any way, shape or form. but as much as muslims behave violently. the soldier as a person will have to react accordingly to keep him self protected. never ever shot any one, never ever arrested any one, never ever raised my hand on any one that includ most of my unit. i can say (by %) 7-8% of my unit had to be agressive once or twice in their 3 years of service. And just a liitle history fact. 2000 years ago the Romans empire conquer ISRAEL and called her palestain, on the name of an historic enemy of the jewish people who lived on gaza strip (550 years before that). That enemy called "plishtim" was originaly related to the greece people. since than the land of ISRAEL was owned by Byzantine, Muslim, Crusader, Mamelukes, Ottoman and the British. but never as independent state. Always as a colony of the conquer. I was a human rights monitor in Al Khalil (Hebron) during such a day - Sarah's day in 2022. The story he tells is familiar. Thousands of Israeli settlers moved through the Palestinian streets shouting death to Arabs. The population hid inside, terrified behind steel doors. A Palestinian family that we interviewed later, had a three year old. She was in her garden, and was hit in the face by a stone thrown by an Israeli settler amongst those at the religious festival. In that situation there was no possibility of her going for medial treatment. She was scarred in the face for life. This story is by no means exceptional. Any family in the centre of Al Khalil will tell you their experiences of these events. I am so inspired by people like this interviewee who have faced what the Israeli forces and settlers do, and stand up for humanity. I'm not a Jew, am Asian and Muslim and even I obsessed about the Holocaust, I couldn't understand how human beings could commit such atrocities. I could understand also Jews' longing for a safe place. But again, when Israel and Nakba happened, I couldn't understand how a people who have suffered so much could metamorphosed into the oppressors. So glad to see men like this speaking up and acting according to their conscience. They are so brave and I applaud them.

This is such a naive understanding of the situation. I really don't know where to start amongst your confusion. 1) When Britain formally withdrew from Palestine, Israel declared independence. Palestinians immediately declared war on Israel. The Nakba was a result of Muslim fundamentalist groups waging a war and losing. 2) Only a fool thinks this is a territorial dispute as opposed to a holy war against Jews. Israel has offered several 2-state agreements, where both Israel and Palestine would recognize each other as legitimate states with borders. Palestine rejected this offer every time, backed by influence by Iran. Even the offers which gave Palestinians more than 99% of the infamous UN agreement were denied. The Oct 7 attack was a result of Israel being on the verge of a historical peace agreement with Saudi Arabia, which was successfully put on hold by Hamas. This peace agreement would directly interfere with Hamas', Hezbollah's and other Iranian-backed rebel groups stated goal of annihilating Jews. There is no search for peace by Muslim leadership. Whenever there is, they're silence by fanatics of Sharia law. 3) Please go look at a map and tell me who the oppressors are. Jews lived all over the middle-east and were exiled by Muslims as a result of the war waged by Muslims against Jews. This pushed Israel into a tiny refugee state taking 1% of the middle-east. If Israel had the same conquest mentality as their neighbors, they could have easily conquered many parts of the ME. If you look at history, all land is temporarily occupied. No land is owned indefinitely. Those who aren't willing to compromise land are those waging war. Jews have nowhere to go and Muslims have 99% of the ME. 4) Israel has been incredibly tolerant and peaceful despite their circumstances. They gifted Sinai to Egypt successfully. They gifted Gaza to Palestinians unsuccessfully. That's the difference between doing deals with a real country as opposed to terrorist regimes. After gifting Gaza as a sign of peace, it didn't take long for terrorist groups to take control of the region. This is when a blockade was placed, in order to prevent the ability to make high tech weapons. Realizing this was unfair to the good Gazans, they supplied them with free electricity and water supply. Despite the billions of dollars sent in humanitarian aid, they spent it on rockets as opposed to things like water filters, where 95% of water is still unfiltered in Gaza. Israel withdrew from its blockade in 2005, and evidently, it only emboldened Hamas. This is just 1 of the many ways Islamic fundamentalist groups consistently take advantage of good gesture and good people to create evil. They even take their own civilians as human shields in hopes of being seen as victims. There can be no peace amongst people bearing this mentality, plain and simple. No between countries, not within. There has never been such a clear delineation between who will be seen on the correct side of history in any prior mass conflict. The propaganda is deep.
