Nifty is most traded index for swing position and long term position trade. So, most people will view in nifty only. For sensex, easiest way is to take the date corresponding to XYZ nifty price swings and map it to sensex chart. Let say nifty is retracing from A to B price, note the date corresponding to A & B, map it in sensex to find out it levels.
