There is one FII which is common in Reliance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Cipla, Dr Reddys that is Goverment of Singapore. Looks like this is a common FII which has sold their holding in to Nifty and made the index to fall because of that entire market collapsed. Going forward strict rules should be imposed by SEBI on FII holding in to Nifty stocks and their exit criteria. Not all FII is in sell mode and there is no need to panic. Yes market is at peak so everyone should have free cash flow, but we should analyze the selling carefully as it is our money finally.

Most important, Middle class ko bewakoof samajh rakha hai Modi ne. Bewakoof bana kar Tax badha dete hain. Indexation removed. Tax increased. Minor PPF account will be given saving bank interest. I just remember reading somewhere , Jhunjunwala & Damani both shorted the market/stock heavily where Harshad Mehta was long. Harshad Mehta lost that time , market crashed they both won and became big investors . Imagine in case if the market retained the figures till that expiry , both Damani & Jhunjunwala would have gone bankrupt. Manish is right that traders are mostly shorters or bears Probably i might be wrong also but i am not sure about the incident that happened in 1990s
