The man is talking a lot of sense ! No one can predict when a market will go down or up. And while we can pray or hope for a 20% correction, one cannot predict if and when that will happen. In such a scenario, one cannot just sit quietly and not invest and wait indefinitely for the market to correct 20%.... Nothing is so absolute in stock markets... They have to keep investing as to the best of their understanding even under the current circumstances. He is also very correct in saying that should the market correct 20%, they will invest more aggressively... absolutely so ! Now whether one wants to invest or not in ICICI Prudential, that is their desire and prerogative completely !

There seems to be strong complacency of Fund Managers of large AUMs , hence each sector of their portfolio has investment nearly 30,000- 40,000 crores but their returns are atleast 5 - 10 percent less than the other smaller fund houses. The best midcap and small cap returns, surprisingly are not from Top 10 AUM Mutual fund houses because they are not exploring the opportunities on a positive mode. More retail investors to be brought on board (so that we avoid high volatility of FII withdrawls ) which will give stability of growth . This 12 percent,15 percent, 17 percent growth mindset in large,mid,small cap cannot reassure the retail investors that their investment is safer than bank F.D. when you predict crash n corrections without sufficient data or events backing it.

Earning growth is not deteorating.....macro fundamentals strong..., Forward PE reasonable for benchmark index .......but we want 20% correction.....such statements makes us doubt on the entire ICICI team .......When you say market say small cap and part of midcap

2016 to 2019 we got 53% rally and from 2021 to 2024 its same 53% rally. So dont be too hopeful of big correction buy good on June 4 type levels and pray for more corrections however unlikely

Market 20 percent correction it is a joke. It will not stop there I mean 20 percent correction. There is a gap in 16400 to 16600 if I am not wrong in that sense I believe 35 percent nifty if correction happen from all time high then nifty will come below 17000 range that is perfect entry. 20 percent correction it will not stop. He is wrong not wait for market correction invest now. My question is why I will invest now. I will buy good equity share like 2009 scenario.
