The "world is becoming icy" because of Frost Walker. It is an enchantment that goes on your boots and freezes nearby water so you can walk on ice. This enchantment is very useful for crossing oceans quickly.

Pat just for future info the reason your iron gen was spawning golems on the ground is because you had 2 hero villagers walking near the machine which causes it to mess up so you would have to move them :) love the content

U can use any ore above coal item or block form to make lucky weapons and potions. This also works for lucky blocks which makes silk touch a GOD enchant

So one thing I figured out that works for me, when you're tunneling through Netherrack, if you crouch with Swift Sneak you can rotate the mouse in tiny circles and zoom through it making a 2x2 space like a tunnel boring machine.
