June 24 -- The U.K. voted to quit the European Union after more than four decades in a stunning rejection of the continent’s postwar political and economic order, sending shock waves around global markets. The result is a massive victory for UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who has campaigned for the U.K. to leave the EU for a quarter century. “June 23rd needs to become a national bank holiday and we will call it Independence Day,” said Farage, a former commodities broker.

mrgclips Bollocks. Look at the count. 48% of those voting wanted to stay in and the majority of Scots who voted too. You won't get your country back. The migrants will REMAIN and Tory austerity will REMAIN and the squeeze on services housing and wages will REMAIN. In a short space of time - when your hangover has worn off and Farage and his rabble do not give you country back, lol, you will be very angry that you were so easily duped and manipulated.

Change is never easy, but freedom is the greatest commodity any nation can hope for, and it's the most precious treasure that's well worth fighting for and even struggling for. - The UK is a strong country that CAN make it happen, paving the way for others to follow and let the butt-hurt bureaucrats, speculators and globalists lick their wounds while watching their unjustly acquired control and power slip away, right back to the people who deserve to have it. - This IS a time for celebration, not bickering, because "YOU" guys over there had done something incredible and brave. - On top of all, YOU have shown to the political elite that you CAN take back the country if they represent outside interests instead of the local population. - I can only wish the very best for the incredible people in the UK who had the courage to go for it and take their nation's fate into their own hands to lead their people into a much better future. - Get united, get stronger than before and you guys will be the absolute finest example for not only Europe, but the entire world about democracy and independence. - Once again: CONGRATS and best wishes! :)

The result of the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union will be final. The Government would have a democratic duty to give effect to the electorate’s decision. The Prime Minister made clear to the House of Commons that “if the British people vote to leave, there is only one way to bring that about, namely to trigger Article 50 of the Treaties and begin the process of exit, and the British people would rightly expect that to start straight away”. Prime Minister’s Statement on the European Council, Hansard, 22 February 2016, Column 24.

Greetings UK + World KZbinrs I just posted this on another page Nigel is spot on! Here is why! Brexit people of the UK our work has only just begun. We must now focus on our Government structure and representative. In the current Government there are too many Conflicts of Interest and two thirds of the MPs were on the Remain side. It is cautiously unlikely that our Brexit Interest will be best serve under this Government. Some how we must seek influence to set in motion an election to house clean and sweep out these politicians that clearly were not with the ordinary people's interest. Especially now David CAMERON has set in motion a new leadership contest. Boris maybe the right man for his party but I do not think the right man for Brexit negotiations -hopefully I am wrong -but the Conflict Of Interest has played out in the Leave Campaign. However party leadership needs to go beyond this towards an election -with manifesto of what their Brexit strategy is with the EU . Then immediately afterwards the invoking of Article 50 of the TREATY OF LISBON so that in two years time we know how we stand with the UNION OLIGARCHS. This approach is best for us UK and best for EU and the speculating world markets!

Bunch of idiots just ruined me, 85% of my customers are outside the UK... It's going to cost me a ton of money to get out of here , I'm sure my 3 employees will be happy to hear that I'll be firing them at some point within the next 2 years.
@Ironbuket
@Ironbuket 8 жыл бұрын
Being outside the EU doesn't mean you cant trade. The EU has been floundering in recession for years whilst rest of the world has been in growth. You should have been looking at other markets already.
@mikstratok
@mikstratok 8 жыл бұрын
Of course I know if doesn't mean I can't trade, but my business would be ruined if for example my customers in Germany had to pay an extra 19% in taxes... we run an online shop and a couple storage warehouses. Turns out basing the operation in the UK was a stupid idea. I'm sure I'm not the only one, lots of imports get to the EU through the UK
@Ironbuket
@Ironbuket 8 жыл бұрын
If most of your customers are in the euro zone it sure was, or maybe you were gambling on having an advantage by basing yourself in the UK under Stirling and are pi$$ed you lost your bet?
@mikstratok
@mikstratok 8 жыл бұрын
Ironbuket I wouldn't call it gambling, it just made sense to set base in the UK at the time since I speak the language. Sure I'm pissed because I got screwed. But I'm more pissed at those idiots who think protectionism and the rise of nationalism are good things, they aren't. I did my master in Germany, turns out the top students come from everywhere around the world, no shit, these people come from Mexico , China, Nepal, they had to go the extra mile just to get a better education... 1 semester in California, same thing there... Oh but I'm sure staying inside out little bubble is a great thing because apparently being a national makes you inherently better than what the international market can provide...
@mikstratok
@mikstratok 8 жыл бұрын
***** That speech was awesome, I understand your point of view, and to some degree I agree with what you say, the EU is after all really is a bureaucratic nightmare. In the long run however no country fighting against the most basic of economic laws will be able to prosper, it is going to take a lot of years to repair the relationships with the rest of the EU and a lot of negotiation to get the deals that will allow the UK to grow. People complain abut the sheer amount of regulations for products and services imposed by the EU, but we are still going to have to comply with those if we wish to trade stuff with the EU, the UK isn't doomed, but the next 5 years are certainly not going to be pretty. Maybe I'm wrong, and the UK will get awesome trade deals, and foreign investors will overlook the financial uncertainty over the next 2 years, but I doubt it. This is going to cost trillions in the long run.

Worst part of it ,is butthurt 16 year old teens saying that the old people convicted them and have dramaticly changed their fate. “A victory for normal people over big business” Pure Hypocrisy from Farage! At the time of the Brexit vote he had an estimated net worth of 3 Million USD and has a trust fund on the Isle Of Man. Outrageous! Rees Mogg is the same, he has a net worth of 10 Million USD, shares in an Oil and Gas company and his investment company is set up via subsidiaries on the Cayman Islands and Singapore!
