This Farage is a master of the smart response. How a man like that-one of the best politicians of our generation-is not in Parliament shows how low that building has sunk. Even the personal attack on one French ancestor 400 years ago, the man responded as if her question was reasonable and not ludicrous.

***** It's only defunct because the election is over and the racists out in the street chanting UKIP have gone back to their council flats. The racist backing of UKIP is still out there. Not saying they all are, but the UKIP election did attract the worst of Britain. Not a judgement on them, more of a catagorisation of all the people so frustrated with their lives that the only way they thought they could change it was loudly and publicly. I'm not for leaving the EU, it has its benefits. It just needs changing and Britain to have a higher standing within. Something we won't get from David Camerons' Tory government. I'm a reform guy.

Why do BBC interviewers see themselves as inquisitors whose job is to discredit any interviewee who is not a committed leftist multiculturalist and apologist for Muslim jihadists? Is that what our licence fee is for? Or is it to have an open discourse on migration which is something which is worrying most law abiding citizens who are concerned about uncontrolled migration which allows anyone from anywhere in the world to claim that they are fleeing for their lives

"My real concern is that we are opening our doors to Jihadism and that is the single most serious threat from this whole crisis." "But that is an assumption, you can not assume." Already, at least one attacker in Paris is known to have gained refugee status with a Syrian passport. Farage was right. Vote UKIP and kick the Jihadists out.

While it is usually a good policy to be generous we must guard our hearts and our countries from those who are not interested in becoming citizens, who are just out for profit or out to grow in an area and take over it or out to terrorize or be criminals. Islam laughs at our foolishness and people that are so destructive of countries as Obama is of America -- attacking any who hold Islam accountable for its actions. If a person comes here to change our country, subvert it, take over it , or terrorize it they are CRIMINALS and NO COUNTRY should be so generous of heart that their reasoning is not only STUPID but leads to chaos and destruction.

I don't support any politican party and am not from the UK, but this woman is so obviously just levelling one allegation after another. Notice also how she doesn't acknowledge his logical answers, she just moves to the next slanderous question/comment. Shameful 'journalism' These tactics actually backfired because Nigel Farage comes over very respectful and honest, whereas she (and the bbc) come across very petty and obviously biased against the political party. The real question left then is exactly WHO are they biased FOR, and WHY is that the case? Shouldn't the media (e4specially a national broadcaster) be unbiased so as to deliver accurate unbiased news!

What daft questions from Kirsty Wark, raising irrelevancies and ad hominem objections instead of dealing with issues. She cannot accept that there are issues which do not fit the left-wing right-wing dichotomy, like sovereignty and immigration. It is great to hear Farage explain the issues cogently . When the referendum shows a 'Yes' to leave, showing that UKIP and especially Nigel Farage was right all along about having his pulse on the Nation's fortunes and the majority of those in agreement to leave, will the likes of all the aggressive, sneering interviewers apologise to Nigel personally for their sometime appalling and sometime unforgivable contemptuous attitude to him and for what he stood for/stands for? Of course not, they will applaud David Cameron somehow for having the referendum and whatever the outcome is. However, since it is not binding in any way, it is just another academic exercise. If the will of the people is not honoured and there is a Yes to leave the EU then David Cameron et alla should all resign.

He makes a good point that big migrations in the past were smaller and over a long period of time which helped them fully assimilate. Refugees should be temporary not permanent residents, we should also prioritise Christian, atheist, gay and other persecuted minorities who are more likely to assimilate and not blow us up. Makes sense!

It's not even about that we are opening the doors to terrorism. Many people object to their country's tradition dying, being lost, and it's not about religion but culture. We like the British culture and its history and object to having mosques all over the place and people wearing veils that cover their faces. It's because it's a different culture and it changes the environment if there tens of thousands of muslims in the streets. They can practice their religion at home. When we visit Islamic countries we are asked to remove our shoes to go in a mosque. Well why can't these people adapt to the British culture in their situation? The knights who took part in the Crusades hundreds of years ago must be turning in their graves!
