Farage as a politician is on a different level to ANY other politician today, he talks sence, straight to the point and is trying to put the great back into britain. He is a very clever strong leader and very grounded, exactly what every normal person in the UK needs as a prime minister. The queen agrees with him and David cameron is terrified of him which is why he won't face him in a debate over britex. Top man Nigel, good luck.

America has ALWAYS been for the betterment of them and for the dissolution of British global power. WW1 - Waited till the last second to help us in the war effort (Not much help was given even when they did) WW2 - Waited till Britain capital was all but a ruin then as we where on the brink of invasion they said they would join the war BUT we had to give them every single technology we had acquired in British history (Putting them on par) They helped the country's we had colonial rule over leave the empire (Fair enough for India and Africa) but when it came to Canada and Australia why? we where stronger as one. Moral of the story is ignore anything America has to say regarding the UK because there is another agenda. There government is NOT our friend neither is our own.

+DeadTalent Of course. Back in the time, Britain was THE world power, the US an emerging power. What many people don't know, the US had been firmly anti-British in the 19th century. During the Napoleonic wars they waited for the exact moment when Britain was the most vulnerable before attacking British Canada to "liberate" them. Unfortunetly, Canadians did not want the kind of freedom the US wanted them to have. In the following decades the US took any opportunity to break the British hegemony and ultimately - thanks to two World Wars - succeeded in it. Today China, the the new emerging power, tries to do exactly the same thing, weakening the US anywhere they can, waiting for a conflict that will break US hegemony.

I voted for Mr Obama twice, and contributed to his campaigns. Overall I think he has been a good president . I also sent him letter urging him to not take any position on Brexit. I wish he hadn't. The case for staying in is not overwhelming, just as it is for leaving. There are very good arguments on both sides of the debate. The British are our and we are their most important ally.. I would rather the president had just expressed confidence in the good sense of the British voter, and pledged that, whatever the outcome, Britain and the US would remain in the strongest, most durable alliance yet known
@1chish8 жыл бұрын
+Frank Hoffman Nice comments there my friend. I have actually written to the US Ambassador with a letter for Obama following his meddling in our internal affairs. Basically I was saying if the American President doesn't understand the principles of Freedom and Liberty and that concept that drove the 13 colonies to Independence of 'No taxation without Representation' then I think he has lost the plot. And to belittle what this country gave in WWII, to insult the country that has shed blood fighting American wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to demean a whole Nation to 'the back of the queue' and to throw our 'Special Relationship' in the gutter was SOME feat of Foreign Policy. I am 69 years old and old enough to have voted in the election that brought us into what was the EEC and the Referendum in 1975 that kept us in. I did so because it was a trading arrangement (like NAFTA) between 8 similar countries. I did not vote for, and have been denied a vote for 20 years on, the EU which is a Socialist political ideology to build a United States of Europe. And it is doing it bit by stealthy bit. It now has a flag, an anthem, a currency, a Parliament, two Presidents, a Commission, a Police Force, a Foreign Secretary and it now wants an Army! Oh and now our doors are open to 27 other countries most of which are nothing like us and 500 million people. Last year we issued 650,000 National Insurance numbers to EU citizens which are the means to claim welfare and get a job. We were told just 30,000 in total would come here. THAT is the extent of the lies we have been fed. June 23rd we vote OUT. June 24th will be OUR 'Independence Day'....

US want TTIP and that's a big driver for their desire for us to stay in the EU. But TTIP is not in the UK's interest - especially for the public services of any kind. Also the US believes we can influence the EU to be more pro-US as we're almost the same. But we have marginal influence - 12% and about to reduce further and want different things from the majority. We need to face reality, the EU wants deeper inrtegration but we don't. The EU sees itself as a rival to the USA but we see the USA as our partners and friends. *At night, in the dorms, we discussed neocolonialism, Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism.* *_~ Barak Obama_* Frantz Fanon was a political radical and Marxist humanist concerned with the psychopathology of colonization. He was the author of "A Dying Colonialism" and "The Wretched of the Earth" the classic analysis of colonialism and decolonization.
