If they're genuine refugees they'd claim asylum in the nearest country thats bordering theirs not at war (we all know this). But what people aren't aware of is if they did that, they'd get allocated a 'host country', and that host country isn't necessary going to be England. I’m a professional pensions consultant and I get TIRED of correcting this lazy narrative - mainly by pensioners who did nothing to fund their retirements other than pay national insurance and think they should get £20,000 a year. People now live twice as long as they did when pensioners were paying in. The reason we have immigration in the first place is because there are too many retired people and not enough working people, and British people aren’t having enough kids. Ironically they are being encouraged to come here to pay for pensions. Have a look at the figures. The state pension is overwhelmingly the largest state Benefit. Over £200BN a year, more than the NHS. About 100 times the unemployment benefit. Your pension pots haven’t been raided. Nobody has taken anything from you. If you pay £100 for ten years, it’s £12,000. If you have to pay it for 20 it’s £50 a month. That’s what’s happened. I am against illegal migration and right wing, but you are talking complete fiction in terms of pensions. If you don’t have enough, you should have saved more. Plenty of retirees made fortunes on their properties and didn’t invest in pensions because they invested in property. I have had to battle this attitude for years. In 1970 life expectancy for men was 68.7 years and for women it was 75 years; in 2010 Male life expectancy was 77.8 years, and for women it is 81.9 years It’s even higher now.

Last night on GB News Farage the Amnesty International representative was given a full and polite interview where he responded clearly and honestly to Farage's questions ... ... the problem is that Amnesty's overall message was that anyone in the world who is unhappy with their lot is entitled to come to the UK if they want to, and that the UK should make appropriate arrangements to let them in rather than forcing them to migrate across Europe, cross the Channel and enter the UK illegally.
