I am extremely interested in the waterfall paint booth. I have also been concerned about your work load you are doing to yourself. I feel that you are doing too much. Your modeling tips are very much appreciated and all your videos are full of those tips. Your builds are amazing. I would be very happy and grateful with fewer videos so that it will reduce your work load and the stress that comes from it. Stress can affect your health by reducing your immunity from viruses and diseases. Stress also has a major effect on your heart.

Dear Nigel, I see that your work continues unabated which is all the more gratifying given the personal circumstances you speak of. Your steadfastness is an example to people all around. Man is born to bear a load. Responsibility brings its reward and the reward is in the sense of achievement of a job well done and, in this case, the appreciation of those who watch you. I may not comment all the time, but I do watch. Do what you can, I will still be here… Kindest regards, Z

Thank you for those kind words Zinners... The biggest barrier is lack of enthusiasm...

Thank you for the update Nigel. LOL, I have to remind my self that you are retired. Good luck with that mate as you have a work list that would give a 30 something pause. As the T shirt and coffee mugs say, Keep Calm and Continue On. Best wishes on the nigglies and all the undisclosed "other" stuff going on. Your work is appreciated and I look forward to your sessions. Be well and don't burn yourself out. Cheers

Thanks for the sitrep, Nige. I hope all the grit in your life's Vaseline is resolved soon, mate, you've had enough to deal with this year. Work at your own comfortable pace and don't worry about us; we're patient chaps really. Same goes for Border explanations; in your own good time. My Dambusters book is in the post too. I am very keen to get it.

Thanks for the update Nigel. I wish you well in whatever has been going on in your life etc. Me and my Mrs have had a lousy October. I got Covid and passed it onto the Mrs. So that wiped us out for 2 weeks. Then later on in the month, I lost my job. As you know, I am a HGV driver on an agency. I have had to look at moving to another agency now. But, it looks like I will finally be back at some work. Hopefully the new work will be OK, and I can start picking up more shifts. Done my first shift today. 5.75 hours, get paid for 8 hours lol. I saw today the revamp of the Gaahleri web site. They have 3 new products on it. Not yet available in the UK, but should be available by the end of November. The set of Metallic Paint Pens look interesting. Not too dear either. I also think you will like those RFM King Tiger kits. I am currently building their Puma German Armoured Car kit. That is a very nice kit. Best wishes buddy. Unfortunately, I cannot go to Telford again, so will miss out on a meet up if you are going.

Alternating the Stuka/WWI sounds like a good idea to me!
@andrewjones164922 сағат бұрын
Nigel. Rather than struggle on with that Stuka, why not put it aside for a wee while? I'm actually about to start building it myself, so watching you is what's deciding me on if I really need those resin parts. The thing is, real life is more important than modelling, and I'm sure most of your audience would get that. I certainly would.

I must keep at it Andrew. So many projects are on the shelf of doom.

@NigelsModellingBench We've all got one of those. My oldest shelf sitter is a Dragon 1/9th Zundapp with a vinyl Fallschirmjäger figure in the box. I bought it in a model shop (long gone) in Enfield in the 1990's. So far it survived two house moves, a divorce, and about thirty years of fiddling about. I'll finish it one day. The kit is boxed by Italeri now, but it was Esci originally.

You know its coming up to christmas when You Tube put in lots of adverts, and most of them will be full adverts that you cant skip. Generally two adverts too.

Nigel, hope everything on your end is going to work out to your benefit. If paint drying time are creating a bottleneck for you have you considered using a dehydrator? Truth be told I haven't tried this but I've seen these pop up as a way to shorten the time needed for paints to dry. Thanks again for all you do.

Hello from across the pond. I get the lack of mojo. I set aside a kit. It took 9 years before I got back into it. Was a Corsair. I know you don't have that kind of time. Honestly. Lol. I don't either.

@YvonnePotts20 сағат бұрын
By all mean Nigel leave the Stuka well alone if it is getting to you that much, come back to it when you are in a better frame of mind to carry on or, not at all, this is meant to be a hobby after all.

Could you accelerate the paint-drying process by baking the paint on?

Hey Nigel... Hie ya going Over there. Your as you mentioned you are certainly looking up & up since the dire Straits you found yourself in a bit back with Friends lost and illness in yourself. Your a Cool Dude that's for sure and Wendy would be so proud of yourself, Seems like a while since this Person Past. Love the Porsche, The Mustang, The Gannett, The Lancaster, The many build kits of the Boing 707 Airframe in its Many Military Variants. The Air brush kits are really cool !!. Nigel, after your life calms down and you clear your bench a little. Why don’t you institute Mojo Monday. A regular feature in which you get to work on anything you want that builds your mojo and most importantly, nothing that is a long series.
