It's great to see the source of crayfish etc. Here in the UK food stuffs are now expensive. A family member brought us ground crayfish from Nigeria half of it was sand, so terrible. Great video, thanks Happy Xmas and New Year 🎄

Akwa Ibom State is very blessed with aquatic resources as you can see. There are numerous large fishing settlement in the state, which include: Esin ufod in Oron, Uta Ewa in Ikot Abasi, Ayadeghe in Itu, Ishiet in Uruan, Ukpenekang in Ibeno, Iko in Eastern Obolo, Atabong in Eket, Ibaka in Mbo, etc. Apart from this big crayfish market in Oron, you can find similar ones in Ibeno, Ikot Abasi, etc.

Crayfish can also purchased at the Creek road market in Town near Borokiri Port Harcourt. There you will get varieties of native crayfish from Nembe in Bayelsa State. The Oron crayfish in my home State is one of the best. We are blessed in the Niger Delta just that successive governments have not been able to harness the potentials in aquatic business.

The weight varies. It depends on how they load the bag of crayfish. I usually buy bags that have btw 28-30 custard buckets, but if you are inexperienced you might buy the bag that is not full and get about 24 custard buckets. I have also bought a bag before and when measured I got 31 custard.
