They keep saying ghana is growing, the Cedis was 4-5 cedis oer dollar but now its 16+ per 1 dollar and still this same wold bank come and tell them their economy is in the right track... I dont know what right track they are talking about, if you currency is loosing its strength and you are a nation that relies heavily on importation, you people will suffer cus cost of living will become higher

South Africans bragging here should keep quiet. Nigeria is restructuring its economy so nobody really knows how much Nigeria's GDP is. Why. Nigeria is not experiencing economic decline. The economy is actually growing. In a matter of three years from now, the foundation for the restructuring and the real GDP of Nigeria would then become apparent.

I Stand with Ajim Maczy!!! World Bank statistics don't impress me! Anybody with sense knows that even your own personal bank continues to encourage you to take loans, overdrafts and credit cards which in truth is detrimental to your bank account!! Same way with the World Bank, they want Nigeria to be perpetually enmeshed in debt!!! Naija, abeg no gree for any baggah!!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!

Nigeria is restructuring its economy. You cannot determine the true value of the Nigerian economy right now.
@Queenofafrobeatz97114 күн бұрын
You must be a clown. You think nigeria is called giants of Africa because of the GDP only. They are known for several reasons... Languages Tribes/culture Population As one of the country that has one of the biggest cities in the world. Etc... You can find out the rest by your self.

@@Queenofafrobeatz9711GDP will even come back to the level any African country will only dream of .Nigeria is re-structuring to become a trillion Dollar economy. Soon old things will pass away
@olumuyiwaojo35324 күн бұрын
Your joy is temporary. Why? Just like my brother @rotimikayode has rightly mentioned, Nigeria is RESTRUCTURING her ECONOMY right now, diversify her economy and move massively into industrialization Nigeria. So feel free and say whatever you like. Let me just drop a hint here for my Nigerians here so that you will understand what our current govt is doing. 1. Reformation ... Reformation in monetary policy and FISCAL and tax policy. These are foundation upon which sound economy is built. Four bills is already in NASS to be passed and legalize those reforms. 2. Less focus on OIL and more focus on GAS. Nigeria is more of a GAS nation that oil. International politics on OIL is damn too much. However, GAS is relatively new in this part of the world. Nigeria wants to be exporting OIL products to earn Forex less dependent on it on local consumption. Focus will change by using more of GAS for local consumption. This is the real change for those who know. 3. Nigeria is pressing the full throttle of INDUSTRIALIZATION soon. Nigeria shall have 6 industrial zones in all the 6 geopolitical regions on Nigeria. Each region shall specialized in some key areas. Eg NE ... Agriculture and Agro processing NW ... Agriculture and Agro processing NC ... Mineral and Solid Resources SS ... Oil and Gas SE ... Heavy Equipment Manufacturing SW ... Digital Economy and Manufacturing All these is coming soon. So, when you hear about restructuring Nigeria on regional basis, it is more of ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING and not primarily political. Free Trade Zones shall be setup. All these will create jobs for our youth. 4. The president announced on October 1 that there will be National Youth Conference soon. Do you know what? There are development manuscript on ground already. However, the president wants the input of the Youth in the Nigeria they want to see and inherit. At the end, all ideas on paper and recommendations from the conference shall be fused together. This will end up in NAS to give it a legal backing. When NASS eventually pass this new bill, we shall begin to rebuild the new Nigeria of our dream. The target of of this government is to increase of our Economy to $1 Trillion ECONOMY by 2030. When we are true with the ongoing ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING, South Africa water will find its level. Please my fellow Nigerians, don't argue with these people who never build anything as a Black African. The white built for them and enjoy the economy today. These people forgot that Nigeria government contributed to ANC to fight Apartheid and ended the white rule in that country. Leave them alone, they will call us again to come and help them. It's a matter of time.
