This is one of the few Ghanaian artist loved by Nigerians. He is wise, humble, polite and knows what he wants. He started his music with twi but he is now using pidgin and English. Nigerians and other Africans don't understand twi and if Ghanian musicians wants to make it big in the African market they need to starts using pidgin, because non west Africans now understand pidgin, thanks to Nollywood.. sarkode needs to take example from this young man and stop blaming Nigerians for his failure.

I am Nigerian and love the forwarding thinking approach of Promise. He is breaking barriers unapologetically while Shatta Wale is busy creating divisions where none exists. The turf is too big to be struggling for space. Ghanaians forget that Nigeria is a country of over 200M persons. That market is too large and should be tapped into just as Nigerian artiste are tapping into Ghanaian market. The game plan is global relevance. Anybody can do it anywhere. Shatta Wale will do very well if he is properly managed. He needs to drop some of his "agbero personae" and embrace forward thinking public relations. Well done Promise.
