Africa should focus on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) we need heavy intra-trading. BRICS is important but let's prioritize trading with one another as Africans.

As a native of Nigeria, I hope the BRICS countries will help my country complete the oil pipeline to the north, which they started a couple of years ago, but ran into difficulties in neighboring countries that are also close to BRICS.

Another myopic Nigerian who’s stuck in the past 🙄 Oil that has only benefited the elites. With your highly educated young labour force, Nigeria should be focusing on industrialisation and manufacturing. That’s the only way to lift your country out of its squalor. But first you need to emancipate yourselves from your criminal ruling class and bring in leadership with vision

@@spoiltchild79 Nigeria is not in squalor, and Nigeria is industrialising, are you sure you live on planet earth? Nigeria is almost a fully industrialised nation. Nigeria needs to decentralise, that is all. All nations have criminal ruling elites, even USA.

@ OMG! There’s clearly no hope if you genuinely believe that the current state of the country is *_almost fully industrialised_* 🤦🏾‍♂️ How many automobiles, aircrafts and machinery is the country producing and exporting? _Nna a, ṅwanne biko lafụdebe ọnwe gị,_ the place is a damn squalor!

ECOWAS has nothing to do with BRICS, and those nations left ECOWAS because they didn't want to return their nations to civilian rule.

Fix ECOWAS how? An organization that solely depends on Nigeria for funding for many years now. We cannot remain to be father Christians to west Africa. Do you know the funding from Nigeria to ECOWAS? Go and sleep abeg

@ Shift somewhere. I didn’t ask you about how ECOWAS is funded. If it’s not useful then dismantle it. Nobody respects that entity now because of Thiefnubu
