I'm Nigerian and honestly President Tinubu did not manage this protest well.....he was even given long notice, so it wasn't a spontaneous event that took him by surprise. He had enough time to assuage the concerns of the people but he didn't care. Now the protest has taken a new turn with calls for him to step down and he suddenly woke up? Truth is, Nigerians just wanted him to change some of his harsh economic policies that led to run away inflation which resulted in prices of everything skyrocketing including food which used to be relatively cheap compared to other countries. .
