Eguavoen reloaded. I think he learnt some lessons from our lost in the last world cup qualifier against Ghana in Abuja. I applaud his calculated susbstitutions in the 2nd half of the game. One of our players who plays in Southern Europe without mentioning his name has mastered the act of disappearing during tracks of his games. I am glad he was replaced. In addition, I was glad that Bassey was moved to the left full back position instead of paring him with Ekong when Ajayi was available. Bassey's body mass and grits could cause us penalties if he is played as a central defender or paired with one but he is excellent at overlapping when necessary. Overall, the defense did a very good job. Lookman and Osimhen, inspite of their lack of competitive playing times at their respective clubs showed the qualities they are made off. Eguavoen has our attention now but he will need to convince us by wining the subsequent matches.

Eguavoen term earlier,when he lost against Tunisia wasn’t bad just very unlucky with the okoye the goal keeper then..his team were always eager and hungry to play..Eguavoen can actually hold down the technical director post and the coach then get someone to assist him during the World Cup qualifiers again..

Eguavoen is a man manager, he's not a tactical wizard but he knows how to maximise player potential and that's key. He knows the abilities of each player and how to use them to effect the greater good. Look on his record each time he gets the job on an Interim basis, it's solid. Long term do we need a more tactical coach, maybe, as against the big boys, talent won't just be enough, we need brains too but for now to steady this qualifying campaign, he's a good choice to continue and let's see how it goes.

Nigeria National Team doesn't need a foreign coach but indigenous coach..Give the man Eguaveon maximum assistance, cooperation, allow him to do his job with his coaching crew. Pay him like their foreign counterparts. Even there are mistakes on the style of play or outcome of matches encourage him stop condemnation. Then confidence will be built-in the team . We would start seeing amazing results. We have competent coaches in Nigeria what we lack is respect to individuals achievements when you are serving this nation.. Argentina been a super team ,unbeatable today wasn't built in a year .Messi and co tried to win World cup and failed but didn't look back on the failures but focus on the future with united mind and they won the world Cup after failing in the previous tournaments. With God on our side we would get there. Let all of us support our Team (super Eagle) , coach Austin Eguaveon and he should be given the job on full-time with good , and competitive salary with allowances.

Please can we do like argentina, by getting every position being nailed by at least 2 top performers. Aina has been overworked in his position. Can we hurrry up and groom someone to be at his level too. Everyone knew how Adringa capitalised on the fact that Aina was tired. Also, the coach should be proactive at spotting tired players and quickly make changes. If we don't learn from losing to the Ivory coast, then I don't know the fate of this team.

He was lucky in that aspect. Sometimes people forget that the best form of attack is defence. Benin started pressing so well and would have equalised if not for Nwabali. I don't know why he did not put Osimhen on time. Apart from goals, he is a big threat on that field. No player brings more threat on that Super Eagles pitch than him but hatred no go let some people see am.

Firstly. I think the reason he didn't play Osimhen in the first half of was because of His New transfer and he wanted to protect his Career , imagine if his enemy injured, do you think about that? Secondly, I think because he didn't had much time to trained and had himself blended with Others, he was left without no other choice than to bring him in since Victor Boniface failed and not that him Augustine Eguavoen didn't know that Osimhen is our key player and a heavy threat to any team and defender's

Ademola Lukeman should learn to play together with his teammates .We are not ready for individual honours but the team's honours. His one on one with the opposing goal keeper was selfish and unnecessary. The coach should watch it.Those first three changes by the coach did not help the team. After those changes the opponent took control of the game. The Midfield became opened. I think the coach need to find alternative to Iwobi. I did not again see him win a tackle. His flawed passes did not help either. I hope Ndidi did not suffer serious injury. We cannot afford to lose him to injuries.
