I was so annoyed that he wasn’t contracted for most of promotional events and interviews before and after the movie. He did so well and should be celebrated everywhere.

That's because he played the role of an Antagonist he was the villain.
@reesereserved
@reesereserved Жыл бұрын
@@Vickyrobinson6453 i don’t see how that is much of a reason. There is no rule in Hollywood against contracting actors who took on the role of a villain for interviews. It’s done. For example, Olsen was the villain in Dr Strange, Thanos in Avengers. They both gave interviews and did promotional things with the main cast.There are many more examples.

@@reesereservedhe wasn't just a villian/antagonist but he portrayed a rapist. As far as I know. No actor has won an award for that.

The movie is a true story about this group of female warriors, their strength, grit, humanity, vulnerabilities and as such they were the main characters. I think it was more important for the women to promote this movie, than the men who were basically the supporting cast.
@reesereserved
@reesereserved Жыл бұрын
@@jay_ferry5165 i hear you but john boyega was in a lot of the promotional materials as well. i’d even argue that jimmy odukoya had a more impactful role than john on that movie. it’s not a competition obviously but i do think jimmy deserved better.
