@Erica K I live in Bathgate and we have a booklet which gets posted to every household monthly. The booklet contains information on what is on in the community and how to participate. It may be worth checking if you have any of such around where you live? You can perhaps ask at your local post office? There is always something going on in Edinburgh.

It's quite a distance, give or take 50 minutes plus drive. Glasgow is closer.
