The only thing I like about the first house is the exterior The interior that we saw could have been better laid out, for a house that big, it’s disappointing. A lot of the new houses built in Nigeria are fantastic on the outside but the interiors are unimpressive, they are dark, the windows are too small, you need to turn on the lights even during the day. What’s with all the LED lights? They need to change their architects.

@Nosa, you may not know but there is actually an environmental and architectural reason for the heavy dark tones inside. These houses are in very hot and humid regions. Natural light corresponds to an increase in heat. The more light you let into your house the warmer/hotter it gets. Get too much of it and you won't be able to sleep in your own house. Not after spending so much on it. That would be a tragedy. So the darker/ more shades in the place the cooler it is. You can put your feet up with a glass of lime cordial in sparkling water and enjoy the gift of owning such a wonderful manifestation of the blessings of the Lord on the lucky soul!

@@thinkerz8tipitina784 I was born in Nigeria over 70 yrs ago, my father’s house was a house full of windows, huge windows. It was a bungalow and the living room had nothing but windows it was the highlight of the house. It is breazy and full of natural light. We had no walls around the house and no problems with thieves. People are scared of people looking in and seeing what their home is like. The location of the house in the lot is important, if the house is South facing, you do get a lot of light in the house, north facing gives you some light and it’s cooler, if you have a house that faces the west, it can be hot. I lived in Lagos Island and it could be humid because of the water but then I did spend some time in one of those big houses in Victoria Island with big windows and it was always cool. I’m not buying your explanation.
