Watching from Nigeria. I really enjoyed your conversation. I think it depends on the perspective you are looking at. I think African men need to step up a bit, however they are not doing badly. Our women also need to appreciate us more and not compare us to the men in the West (U.S, U.k). My marriage is 9 years by the grace of God and I am enjoying the wife of my youth. Romance is good, but its not everything required to keep a relationship or marriage. Financial stablility, kindness, senstivity and emotion maturity is key. Nice channel, I just subscribed.

I'm an American Black Woman and Oshay I hope that you are schooling these young ladies and that you are in truth about today's topic in knowing the destruction that these fake romance perspectives and behaviors have caused in the Americas. These young ladies are too young and they don't know the full ramifications of not having emotional control. I'm not saying women shouldn't be emotionally supported but where does one draw the line? Some of what these were saying is an immature perspective that "may" lead these women to having a "potentially" high body count, emotionally drained, unmarried, unsatisfied, spiritually dismantled, and eventually potentially alone because they won't be able to peer bond. These ladies have to be mindful of what they are doing "unconsciously" to themselves when they jump from guy to guy in exchange for money in some form (mobile topup, groceries, etc.) and then when the women don't get what they want from one guy they move on to the next. So basically why should men trust settling down with these types of ladies. Life has ups and downs, and if the man has a problem in life financially will these young ladies just leave him instead of helping to lift the man when he's down on his luck?
@alieast3196
@alieast3196 Жыл бұрын
You should be a pastor because you are speaking the gospel 🕊️🌞. In all seriousness we should all be aware of the toxic seeds from the bad apples in western culture. Nigeria and Congo are two of the most westernized countries in Africa and their is a small percent of men there who have made wealth from abusing the people and resources in their country. Those are the men they are speaking about not the everyday people in the villages, cities, and slums who cannot even afford a plane ticket out Nigeria or the congo. They are basically African passport bros lol 📘.
@wealthbymind
@wealthbymind Жыл бұрын
@@alieast3196 And, the crazy thing is that people are following the "WEST" and other cultures with perspectives and behaviors that are damaging not only to the mind but to the body and the spirit. We are supposed to follow a higher power (whatever name you put on it). We are supposed to let our ancestors and higher forces guide us but instead, we are allowing the wickedness of man to lead us by the nose and place "evil agendas" before us that do not serve us. Some of these agendas are subtle and look innocent but in the end, they are the most destructive because they are noticed when it's too late. Many are functioning without higher principles and because of such they have nothing that gives them a baseline. Your principles help you to know where to draw the line. When you don't have principles, then anything goes and people can be steered in a direction that is damning. Again, having principles is a way of setting boundaries of knowing what you will do and not do. Culture is bigger than an individual person. You must hold principles so your children will know what to stand on. We should have individual principles that benefit the whole. People are letting misguided perspectives and behaviors dictate what has been proven to not be good in the long run. People are looking for instant gratification and a quick $dollar and not what will hold them and their community together for the long haul. The other crazy thing is that if I were to call a woman who jumps from man to man a whore or a prostitute, she would be offended. But when you look up the meaning and the etymology of the word, they would fit the description exactly. And you don't need to stand on the street to be such. Believe it or not, this is why some people can't connect intimately. They have too many other people's energies on them. Many do not hold their bodies as temples (male and female). Not everyone deserves your energy not to mention sex can be a dirty thing, physically as well as spiritually i.e. disease, blockages in life, etc. Both males and females are prostituting and compromising themselves for less than nothing because they don't see themselves in high regard. It is what it is and I'm not judging but I am wondering, when did we lose our creativity to make something from nothing. I agree with you it's not all (in whatever locale) however we must be aware of these damaging perspectives that are like a virus. We must protect ourselves from this at all costs. We all must think higher and carry ourselves in that manner. Respect yourself first and then others will respect you. We have forgotten who and what we are supposed to stand for. You don't need to be a pastor to speak the truth. We had principles of truth way before the advent of the Bible, Christianity, and Islam. The spirit of a higher order was once in us and we carried ourselves in that way. Many no longer carry themselves in such a way and the ones that do are looked upon as if something is wrong with them. So, it is up to you to seek the truth in all things even if it hurts and no matter what anyone says. At least then, when you see yourself going the wrong way you can adjust and self-correct. I'm here as a black American woman (there are still some good ones out here) who is a living witness to the destruction of our people all around the world and it saddens me.

The fact of being poor guy and no woman interested in you is all over Africa and it's not because women only want money, it's feminine nature. Women by nature wants security both physically, economically and financially, even intellectually. I have had this issue of east African men not being romantic as west African counterparts. However, i believe east African women could figure out the comparison became west African men becomes available for them. It's always like that in life when you have experience of two sides. @@christset It is not as hard as people try to make it. Women love naturally, but find it unnatural to submit.... Men don't find it natural to love - that is why the Bible commands the woman to submit and the man to love. Disobedience to this simple command leads to problems, which neither can handle. So, I understand where you are coming from about giving her the salary to pay all the bills, including the ones you incurred, it makes her feel in total control - that is still wrong. She should be in control of building the home while the man should be in charge of protecting the family. ... It is that simple.

I have been to several clubs, lounges, hotels, exotic restaurants etc in DRC and the way Nigerians spend money can't be compared to the Congolese at all. Nigerians are top spenders. In December 2019 just before the covid, I travelled with 2 of my Nigerian friends to DRC for 8 days and we spent a total of $34,800 on exotic drinks and champagnes in the club in just 3 days. The club owner told the DJ to stop all french music and play strictly Nigerian music throughout our stay. Nigerians love fun and wouldn't mind the cost. They're big spenders.

I don't think spending $34,800 on exotic drinks is a big deal to a group of young Nigerian men who are worth millions of dollars and own gold mines in Conakry, Mali and Goma DRC. They went on a business trip and equally had fun. I don't see that as insane as long as they were happy and it doesn't affect their business and investments negatively.

@@11damilola I’m certain that the vast majority of Nigerians know NOTHING about having “fun” as much as men like me! And I have FAR more wealth than most Nigerians dare to even fantasize about! But anybody that equates spending $34,800 on “exotic drinks” 🍹 🥤 🍺 as “fun” is truly lacking …in MANY ways! The AVERAGE household in Nigerian earns just a bit more than $200 USD per MONTH! So let’s not pretend that most Nigerians know ANYTHING at all about wealth! In the USA we blacks who actually ARE wealthy …and did _not_ grow up in poverty can ALWAYS recognize NEW MONEY and the people who DID! The NEW MONEY blacks are prone to do all of the childish flexing and love to wear expensive jewelry, drive fancy cars and to be seen. What they are far too dumb to realize is that there is an entire industry of people who get rich and make a living off of their zeal for relevancy. They know that these hood rich people have NO idea what the difference is between a $100,000 watch and an $800 watch. They have absolutely NO idea what fine aged wine tastes like or should taste like as compared to something picked up at the corner liquor store. They can’t tell REAL gold from FOOLS gold and they can’t tell a diamond from a cubic zirconia. You could pick up something from Target and tell a hood rich negro that it’s a designer original and that the label is very exclusive and they will pay 100x more for it than it costs at the store. (Petty people are just that desperate to be relevant or to APPEAR rich!) All you have to do is act a certain way and talk a good game and put a high price tag on something and a hood rich negroe is extremely EASY to fleece! The poverty class always make a MUCH bigger deal about their relatively NEW money and love to flaunt it, toss it around and spend it frivolously…and FOOLISHLY! But the people like ME who have NOTHING to prove and are used to wealth tend to be significantly more frugal and conscientious about how we spend it. Men like me have MUCH more in common with men like Elon Musk …THE wealthiest man (by FAR) on the entire PLANET 🌍…and NOTHING in common with the typical RAPPER …who grew up in poverty in “da hood!” It sounds like these Nigerians share this _HOOD_ mentality when it comes to money! Spending $34,800 on “exotic drinks and champagnes …in the club …in just 3 days” is something that I’d be too EMBARRASSED to admit to! ESPECIALLY if I came from a country as dirt poor as Nigeria! 😖 After you consume all these “exotic drinks and champagnes” it all comes out as rancid smelling yellow *_PISS!_* And the people who mixed up the drinks and sold them to you are LAUGHING at you behind your back! 😄😁🥲😅😂🤣

When it comes to dating you can see Nigerian men being very passionate, this is due to Nigerian’s culture where commitment and love is a way of life, That's why most Nigerian men date to get to the aisle in no distance time, because a typical Nigerian man is family-oriented so living happily ever-after is their end game. Nigerian men are taught right from a young age to treat the female child lovingly. Be aware that Nigerian men are also dating and marrying women from other countries. In Africa Nigerian men are getting married to South Africa and Kenya women most especially and also not only in Africa but in Europe and America. Don't forget Nigerian men they're selfless men and they'll go any length to do things for the one they loves. Nigerian men they're always having a firm determination and desire to be successful. Dating a Nigerian man is soothing as they treat their partners like a queen.This means you remain the heart while he is the head. By so doing you both will be in symbiotic kind of relationship.

As a Nigerian man, we just don’t spend blindly like this video would portray, we do spend and sometimes even more than the other guy and that’s cause we want you and we believe you are worth it, the moment you don’t show or meet up to our wants or the Value or potential we see in you because maybe you became lazy or entitled, that is when we leave you. It gets worse if we find out that you are after the money and what we can give that makes you the same with the other girls out there and we will do and act accordingly with you.

Bruh stop the cap, I'm Nigerian too and too many of our men blindly spend hoping to get sex. We have a whole lot of men hyper focused on getting cash just so they can get women and they fail to build emotional connections with these women because that's what society makes them believe. Why do you think we have too many cases of cheating partners and the rest.

Ladies and gentlemen I am from Nigeria. The thing is I put priority above anything. If I would date any woman, she must be of substance. I believe guys should be romantic. If u can't do great things, do small things in a great way. You don't need to be super rich to woo a woman. In the long run she may be the one that will pay your bills. Go to saloon with her, check on her, reassure her. And make sure u r dealing with someone that is ready to be with u. With these ladies will like u.

Why must it be men stressing to make the women feel loved and wanted all the time? Why can't women also make men feel wanted and loved? Yet they want men to do certain 'unmanly' things to feel equal and in same power wavelength with men. Basically wanting to eat their cake and have it.

It does not take a lot to be romantic. Kind words and compliments; a walk in the park in the park, flowers, or a thoughtful deed can be just as romantic. A man who doesn't think a woman is worth treating special is not going to find a special woman. If a woman wants to be treated right, she must find a man that treats her the way she wants to be treated. Just because a man is strong doesn't means he should not be treated with tenderness. At the same time, just because a woman is empowered doesn't mean she should not be made to feel special.
