Always scrape a little of each of the plantain before cooking to act as a thickener, so to make it not to be watery

This defies the definition of porridge, which is : " Porridge is a food made by heating or boiling ground, crushed or chopped starchy plants, typically grain, in milk or water... " So yeah, culture or not, this isn't porridge, looks more like a stew. Plantain porridge from cote d'ivoire is an actual porridge 😂
