*Frequently Asked Questions Answered! (OPEN ME)* 1. Can I put it on my face, arms, legs? *Yes* 2. Will this brighten my skin? *No* 3. Will it darken my skin? *I think so, if you put it on and go out in the sun. Oil + Sun = FRIED* 4. Can I use baby carrots? *Yes, all types of carrots but mature carrots contain less water.* 5. Can I mix it with my body cream? *Yes* 6. Can I mix it with my hair cream? *Yes* 7. Can I mix it with sheabutter? *Yes* 8. What carrier oil did you use? *I mentioned these in the video several times. I use either coconut oil or virgin olive oil depending on what I want to use the carrot oil for.* 9. Can I use it for my hair? *Yes* 10. Why are you using dry carrots and not fresh? *Fresh ones smell so bad after 48 hours because they contain water.* 11. Which type of olive oil? *Virgin Olive Oil* 12. Is this good for babies, including new born babies? *I would use this on my baby from 6 months because that's from when pediatricians advise that we feed babies carrots.* 13. Which other oil can I use apart from coconut oil and virgin olive oil? *Please Google carrier oils and google will come up with lots of other oils you can use.* 14. Is this really carrot oil if you are using another oil? *Yes it is, maybe what you need is Carrot SEED Oil, not the same as this one.* 15. Can I use a dehydrator? *I do not own a dehydrator so I don't know how it works. If it can get food bone dry without charring it (turning it dark) then you should try using it* 16. Every other question, I already answered in the video please watch again (from beginning till end) with rapt attention. :)

Hehehe! Some people still don't believe me when I say I am approaching 50? Chai o! Why would I lie because of a KZbin video? My reputation is very important to me. So I am approaching 50 ooo. I know it shocks some people but it is true. It's all in my lifestyle especially what I eat and don´t eat, what I do and don't do. I have lived a very strict lifestyle all my life and it's paying off big time. A few people have been asking about my "secrets". If you want an exposé on my lifestyle, do let me know by replying this comment. 👇👇👇 I'm always happy to share just that that kind of video requires lots of talking to the camera which I do not enjoy so much. As most of you know, I am a behind the scenes woman. 😉 So I need serious motivation to do that video. 💃💃💃

Queen Athelene not really, you get more nutrients out of carrots when cooked too. As long as you don't overcook any vegetable such as carrots and tomatoes, you get more out of them.
@victoriousada85756 жыл бұрын
That is if the vegetable is to be eaten and processed through the digestive tract ortherwise NEVER put any form of cooked oil on your body . For cuisine purpose don’t fry but steam your carrots (vegetables) to preserver nutrients .

@ChibuikeUlasi6 жыл бұрын
Hi Flo, This is just amazing! How did you find out about all the health benefits of carrots? I know it requires a lot of carrot to make it in larger quantities. Which carrier oil is your favorite between coconut and pure virgin olive oil? Which one gives you better healthy benefits between the two? I like that you incorporate the carrot oil in almost everything you cook and eat. Did you say it does not smell too? I hope to give it a try. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day!
@FloChinyere6 жыл бұрын
Chibuike I have never done a micro comparison on those two. The beta carotene in both are the same so you can compare the health benefits of coconut oil and olive oil and whichever comes out tops should be the one to go for. But the thing is that coconut oil may be beneficial to one person in one way but not for the next person. For instance, lots of people swear by coconut oil for their hair but my hair does not like it as much as it likes olive oil. :) When I said it does not smell, I meant the foul smell of rotten carrots. If the carrots are not bone dry before adding the oil, the carrot oil will have an odour, you will even see mould in it after 2 days or so. That said, the carrot oil made with coconut oil has the coconut aroma. But surprisingly the one made with extra virgin olive oil does not have the strong olive oil aroma nor flavour hence why it integrates better in most meals and drinks. You can even add it to bitter leaf soup and my Igbotic tastebuds will not notice. 😂😂😂
@ChibuikeUlasi6 жыл бұрын
Flo, thank you for your quick response. I think I will go your way (Olive oil). I have bought pure coconut oil from Sam's club and my wife and daughter used it mainly on their hair rather than cooking. They have also used olive oil too on their hair. I have been going back and forth to Publix to buy coconut and they end up bad when I open them. I will not attempt to make my own coconut oil because of that. I will make sure the carrots are bone dry as you suggested. I will keep you updated as soon as i make it. One quick question. If you have too much or too little carrot in the carrier oil will it affect the outcome or color of the carrot oil? Have you also thought of using canola oil? I will also try adding it to all my swallow soups when next i cook them. Thank you.
@FloChinyere6 жыл бұрын
About quantities, it's about balancing out the ingredients. If you add too little carrier oil such that some of the carrots are not immersed in the oil, the beta carotene in those ones will not seep into the oil so will be a waste. If you add way too much oil, the concentration of the beta carotene will decrease. It is best to pour just enough oil to cover the carrots and no more. And yes, the final colour of the oil is an indication of the concentration of beta carotene. The deeper the colour, the more beta carotene you have in there.

Flow so I stumbled onto this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4jHY5KqfJd5pJo The lady fried the carrots. I did not know you can make carrot oil that way.
