I witnessed the Ghana must go first hand. Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Nigerians disgraced Ghanaians and named a bag after Ghanaians. ( Ghana 🇬🇭 must go ) But one thing for sure. What goes round comes around. Thanks

This is the reason why some Ghanaians hate Nigerians. At that time we where dying, our families were dying😭 I cried when my mother narrated how they were suffering to me. Nigerians should be grateful that we still open our arms for them

@@maaruth5774 Have you ever considered what Ghana leader first did to Nigerians? Many Nigerians lost their properties in Ghana. Go listen to old citizens of Nigerians who were evicted out of Ghana without being allowed to pick anything.

So many Ghanaians were forced to sell or abandon properties in Nigeria. One of my Uncle who was married to a Nigerian wife with 4 children lost everything when his in-laws took over their home he was renting at the time and his uncompleted house. When he returned to Ghana, he never recovered or remarried. About 5 years later he went back to look for his children but was unsuccessful. His house had been sold different people who knew nothing about his plight. Even people in the neighborhood who recognized him were unwilling to speak to him or assist him to look for his children. There are many Ghanaians with stories like this and even worse. That is why many Ghanaians view them suspiciously.

😢 True paaa. Nigerian employers refused to pay the Ghanaians their salaries when they asked Ghanaians to leave Nigeria. Some Nigerian banks refused to let Ghanaians withdraw their deposits/savings from their accounts because they knew Ghanaians were forcefully being removed from the country and the banks wanted to steal those monies.

Ghana must go was the worst thing that ever happened to Ghanaians from our fellow African sister Nation. At the worst time when Ghana was facing Hunger and starvation that was the time Nigerians decided to kick out Ghanaians back to compound the situation. Nigerians have always hated Ghanaians for no reason. However we still show them love because we see them as our younger bros and sis.

@@rubyampon8797 Stop playing the victims card and learn to channel the blame to your corrupt leader who started it. Mind you, Nigerians who narrated theirs also pass through pains and death.. I have seen a lot of them if they tell you their own story in Ghana, you will pity them. I am not trying to justify what both leaders did. I totally condemned both.

Guys, the deportation of Ghanaians were political. Pres Shagari was afraid of the military gov led by Rawllings his sentiments would've influence the Nigeria military to also stage coup d'etat against Shehu Usman's gov. So in 1983 he even gave ordinary Nigerian citizens the power to attack Ghanaians after the ultimatum date to leave. Then again, been afraid of the unbearable multitudes in thier countries, Benín and Togolese authorities also closed their borders which caused many live of Ghanaians during the exodus⁉️🇬🇭🇬🇭

Shagari was also unhappy that Rawlings overthrew Dr. Hilla Limane, his (Shagari's) friend. Liman's wife went to stay with Shehu Shagari, after her husband's overthrow.

No one has adopted Nigerians in Ghana. There is no such thing like Igbo king , Tribe or palace in Ghana . It is a society that is forcing themselves on us after our brothers were killed and named after a bag that they used to pack when they were leaving Nigeria peacefully. Nigerias problem is not Mr Tinubu. There are worse people yet to be elected. Pray for Forgiveness and Gods intervention.

"Prior to 1983, the expulsions of immigrants had occurred several times in West Africa for various reasons. These include Ghana's deportation of Nigerians in 1954 and 1969 and Togo's deportation of nationals from Côte d'Ivoire, Dahomey, and Nigeria in 1958." Yes, I was there during the Ghana must go era. I had a lot of Ghanaians friends doing menial jobs despite there level of education. Some of them stayed behind and did not return home. I heard from them how Nigerians were deported from Ghana in 1954 and 1969. Please check your history
