You Nigerians always want Ghana cedis to be like naira which is not possible. It's somehow normal to Ghanaians but Nigerians will complain more. It's like a Ghanaian traveling to UK. The cedis will be light to the pounds in UK therefore the price tags for items will be more for the person.

.0 Uju, I am a Ghanaian and I can live on 2000cedis(200000naira) for 2months based on my lifestyle. So for others I don't know of them. If you live a simple life in Ghana, you can live on 500cedis for a month.

It because our currency is higher than Nigeria just like our sisters in UK and US say things over there is higher than Ghana it depends on the weight of your currency

Why is she not comparing US Dallas to Naira. She should compare items in US and Naira. Accommodation is expensive because of the demand. Every one want to stay in Accra. Compare accommodation charges in Accra and not the whole of Ghana.

To generalize that expensive is absurd. It depends on where she live and shops, most Ghanaians know where cheap things are sold. She should ask and navigate we

I don’t really get this Nigerian Lady living in Ghana claim that Ghana is expensive than Nigeria. Imagine the example she gave like for example tomatoes. Using 2,000 Naira to buy tomatoes and using double that in Ghana as 50 Cedis is a shameful example give. I thought she would say using 2000 Naira to buy Tomatoes in Nigeria is cheaper than using 5,000 Cedis to buy same Tomatoes in Ghana. Let’s take the amount by the face values. How can you tell me spending 50 cedis to buy Tomato in Ghana is expensive than using 2,000 Naira to buy Tomatoes in Nigeria using face value? Admit that your currency is weak and as a result being a Nigerian, you see it as expensive but here in Ghana, to use 2,000 Cedis to buy Tomatoes is too much if it is something you are using yourself. To say Ghana is expensive also means those living in abroad is also expensive since the currency there is more stronger. I say Nigeria is expensive because in Ghana here, I can buy common single pure water at 50 pesewas while in Nigeria, to get a single pure water, it cost 50 Naira. Why are Nigerians not using Kobo to buy single pure water? Isn’t it a shame? Furthermore, in Ghana a bag of sachet water is 12 Cedis but in Nigeria it is 400 Naira. If Nigerians are not making using of Kobo, it simply means Nigeria is expensive, believe it or not. Imagine a bag of Dangote Cement that cost 90 Cedis here in Ghana, it 7,600 Naira in Nigeria. I take the amount in face value. Now if our currency is stronger than yours, is it our fault? Blame the weakness of your currency to your economy Managers and you the Citizens. The Lady is asking how far 2000 Ghana can take us? Ask her or any Nigerian with like mind that what can 2,000 Naira also do for them? Madam Host, you ask of Ghana’s inflation: Ghana inflation stands at 21.6% Nigeria inflation stands at 32.7%

Ghanaians don't protest anyhow.... Its a last resort.... We complain... If mr A is responsible we will attack mrA with the complaints.... It will continue until mr A says something or fixes the issue... Its the pressure of constantly calling out the names of the leaders.... Thats how Nigerians should do... Everyday you tell them to come fix it... If it takes a year keep at it they will succumb... No leader wants to be blamed.... Congratulations 😃😃😃👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Stop saying that. You won't be happy if you're treated this way in UK or US. Be specific that the bad ones should leave the country.

Ghana is artificially expensive. Do your research to understand. When you come to Ghana, live like a local. Otherwise, you will run out of money before your next flight. If you don't know any of the dialects, then the probability of you paying for higher prices in Ghana market is 100%.
