This guy is right....the diversity in Nigeria is crazy; you need to be in Nigeria to understand it. In my secondary school (I went to a Fed Schl, if you are Nigerian you will understand ), there were students from the 36 States including Abuja, all of us from different tribes and languages, economic backgrounds etc. So from a young age, the average Nigerian is used to people from different backgrounds, that's why anywhere we go in the world, we adapt easily and thrive cos we are used to competition and diversity back home

Why always comparing your Lagos population to Ghana and not comparing yourselves to America and India since you're their mate's in terms population?? Ghanaians don't make noise but always ahead of you and you guys are always in pain. Over 6 million Nigerians living in Ghana but always making noise with your population. Very soon you guys will go for a Visa before coming to Ghana. Arrogant people. Every prison you go in the world the most people you will find inside prisons are Nigerians so where is your intelligence?? Humble yourselves and learn from Ghana because we had independence and helped you Nigeria how to also get independent so respect Ghana as your senior brother and not population wise and stay in your country

Fun fact: Key:fear of being ridiculed by other tribes. Instead of fighting or worse killing one another on the streets, we have managed to channel our anger, envy, and jealousy into more positively by competing financially and educationally. We traded our guns and cutlasses for pen and papers. So, if one Nigerian succeeds best belive the other is coming to surpass that feat one way or there other. We Nigerians have redefined what's called "Iron sharpens iron"!. Peace and love🇳🇬🦅✊🏿

It's the culture of Nigerians. When you're up to 18yr and you're still under your father or your mate are doing much better than you in the area then you will have your father to content with. Your father will be your challenge the will keep reminding you of your mate do will you're still there doing nothing for him and your mother to be proud of, everyday you will not get rest of mind until you start doing much more better for your parents to be happy for him to start saying that's my sun and you will never be happy as well seeing your mates doing better and you're not. So this kind of up bringing is one of your inspiration and the zeel for your community to be proud of as well

the school I went in Nigeria, we were thought not to memorised but learn it... in fact your teacher fail you if they detect memorisation .. so speak for yourself bro
@FunTaskTickViews9 ай бұрын
Listen, if one or two cases defer from the hundreds who do it, does it make it a lie? Everything the guy said in the interview is expressly the truth and nothing but the truth... Are you saying you were not taught the times table chants and some other things in the school you claim to have attended back in Nigeria? If not, then you must be one of these Gen Z who attend a much recent school that is doing something unique by teaching our kids the modern way of learning... In my days and I talk about the 80s and 90s, memorizing was 60-80% of how we were taught... So when he said that, he was actually right and speaking for about 90-95% of kids who went to school in those years... So, you should speak for yourself. Edited: And in order to support his claims further, go look for an interview of Israel Adesanya by Joe Rogan where Izzy narrated how he was taught in class back home and how he found it funny when he got to NZ and kids had to crack their brains to do simple calculations like 2x6 and 3x8, while back home those were simple numbers every child is taught to chant about until they master them. So how is that not a memorizing pattern?🤷🏼♂️😳

Some memorization is needed in learning, example if you are learning about anatomy, geography. But the way our exams were set is that you couldn't memorize concepts. You had to understand the concept to discuss it. So, there were elements of memorization too. We memorized chemical reactions because we had no laboratories. It is possible that in other states where the schools were better funded, there was no need to memorize a lot. Some memorization is needed in any learning.

MESSAGE TO ALL: Please note that this assumption that one can make a lot of money doing business in Nigeria (such as MTN) is highly due to the following factors: 1). The dumb political class who have little desire to protect the citizens- (especially if their palms have been greesed), have not bothered to actively regulate business activities in the country. As a result, a lot of exploitation of the masses takes place unhindered; 2). Given the above condition, MTN imposed absurd rates on its consumers (who had little or no better alternative to turn to). So, when we say MTN made a lot of money, that was due largely to the exploitation of the masses who were hardly protected by their government.

From JFK’s government Nigeria was courted as a prelude to the entry of the US oil majors: Gulf Oil, Texaco, chevron and Mobil. Why is it that every time there is a conversation about Nigeria in social media, some ignorant Igbo person who doesn’t represent all the Igbos would turn the conversion into ethnicity sentiments in an effort to sow division amongst Nigerians. The Nigerian gentleman that was interviewed never in all he has said, try to put one ethnicity over the other. He treated the Nigerian question as a patriotic Nigerian he is, and not as a tribal bigot. We didn’t even know that he was from Kaduna and a Moslem until he was asked. Why can’t we all love this great country Nigeria that has much potential to be great if we put her first.
