BURMESE KHOY SUEY RECIPE
* Ingredients for the curry:
- 1/2 cup besan
- 1/2 kg yogurt
- 1 can coconut cream
- 1 tsp haldi
- 1 tsp salt
- 10 garlic cloves
- 1 inch ginger piece
- 1 tbsp zeera
- 1 chicken cube
- 5-6 tbsp oil
- 1 lemon
* Ingredients for the chicken:
- 600 grams chicken
- 7-8 tbsp oil
- 2 medium sized onions chopped
- 4 medium sized tomatoes chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp dhania powder
- 1 tbsp zeera powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp haldi
- 1 chicken cube
- 7-8 tbsp yogurt
* Ingredients for chilli oil
- 4 tbsp chilli flakes
- 2 whole garlic heads sliced
- 10 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 pinch salt
* Ingredients for the noodles
- 500 grams (1 pack) boiled spaghetti stir fried in 2 tbsp oil and pinch of salt
* Ingredients for garnish
- 2 heads of garlic sliced and fried in oil
- Handful of coriander
- Lemon as needed
- Boiled eggs as needed
- Spicy Potato finger chips

Like your cooking. We make Khowsuay in different style. Our Grandmother was from Burma so this is our family dish. We don’t use Besin Kari but instead we make only Coconut curry in meat stock.
