For around 15 years I have been Reverse Trick Or Treating - I dress up and go around to small libraries and businesses that know me to give out treats. No one comes to my place, so I go out to them. This year was Velma and handed out almost 100 packs of Scooby Snacks 🧡

@binksshank It started when I was working overtime so I reverse trick or treated everyone at work - if they were making me work on my favorite holiday I was going to be obnoxious in a way they couldn't get mad about lol! But it was so much fun I took it public 😁

i dressed up as Lily Munster this year. I had a blast and so did my kid. he was a spider!! he made his spider costume, it was awesome!! I love your content and videos. Thanks for sharing your October with us. Now, we plan for Halloween 2025!!! \m/

I’m of Hispanic/ indigenous descent so my family is celebrating Dia de los Muertos. We start on the October 27 with the alebrijes arriving first then every day are steps proceeding to the last which is November 3rd when we take the altar down.

This year was unique for me, because I not only attended a wedding yesterday, but I officiated as well. It was a beautiful setting at a restaurant in Old Topanga, California, and they did an incredible job at making a smooth, complete, and very fun Samhain wedding!

I feel like October 32 is the perfect day to watch Nightmare before Christmas because I always feel like the mayor "only 364 days left until next Halloween!" Time to get started thinking about new projects. I didn't finish a blanket and a sweater, so I still have those to work on. Your day sounds perfect and your latte looks delicious.

I was Beetlejuice for Halloween: I made myself a black and white hexagon cardigan to go with the outfit and I finished it in ten days (and I don't usually crochet fast). I also crocheted a sandworm purse the weekend before.

@@AltKnots Yeah, it was my way of dealing with stress. It was a very fun Halloween, though! I really enjoyed handing out candy and complimenting the kid's costumes. Some of the kids were surprised that I recognized their characters and that's always gratifying.

Halloween I spent eating pizza and candy and watching a bunch of short horror movies with my sisters, we had a visit and sleepover kind of a night-- it's kind of a long way between the living room and the front door, so I just put the big black tub full of candy out for the neighborhood kids. I wore my costume out the day before while doing my last-minute pre-Halloween shopping (Marty McFly, which has the bonus of being very convenient for the weather here). I've been watching horror movies of varying quality all month while I work on my crochet projects, and now I really have to shift into 'finishing gifts for the holidays' mode...

I watched Hocus Pocus for the first time ever! It was pretty solid. We did not do much. I was Maid Marian from Disney's Robin Hood on a LIVE. LOL. Have you ever seen Vamps? Such a fun campy vampire flick.

Yes! Thank you! I’ve often felt the disappointment and let down after Halloween! So happy to know there’ll be 13 days more to celebrate! I bought a fabulous heavy ceramic black skull to use as a yarn bowl! So psyched! 💀🦇🦋

You would love the Halloween party I am going to on Saturday at some friends' house. They go out on all the decorations. One room is a spooky kid's toy room. I am going as a butterfly as this has been a year of transformation with bariatric surgery and losing weight. I feel so much better than last Halloween🎉

I was a vampire for trunk or treat. I crocheted a ton of spiderwebs and made a huge paper mache spider. On the actual day of Halloween I was a pumpkin and attended a soup cook-off!

Great to catch up with you in the yarn dungeon! I dressed as Dionysus for Halloween (I crocheted part of my outfit of course!) and my housemates and I made some apple cobbler, mulled cider, and other tasty treats. Didn't get many trick or treaters but it was still really fun!

I missed our live Halloween party you used to do. I really was hoping you would do that again. I had to work on Halloween but I did get to watch your Muse 2320 video and some spooky movies. Traditionally I watch Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein on Halloween but didn’t get to it this year. So Happy New Year Ghouls and let the countdown begin until next Halloween 🎃

i didnt dress up for halloween but i did wear my Boo-tiful shawl while taking kids trick or treating Took today off work to have a mental health day. Caught my journal up journaled about halloween, set up november theme in my bullet journal (Over the Garden Wall) got my Switch ready for Stardew update and worked on my bat wing shawl. Only 10 more rows to go. Can't wait to play with the embroidery set. I had "learn embroidery" on my bucket list for awhile

I was Mimi Bobeck from the Drew Carey show for Halloween this year. I feel that my costume looked more like a nail salon fortune teller, but the eyeshadow looked the part. I worked and helped hand out candy at work. I didn't have time to do much else.

When I seen the yarn you showed I thought it has to be the Warbler. I bought 2 hanks of the green color at the Minnesota fiber festival. I haven’t decided what to crochet with it yet. It is beautiful yarn.

this year i dressed up as the Witch King of Angmar (from lord of the rings)!!! i'd made the helm myself, and crocheted an amigurumi flail for his weapon. it's full size but very squishy so i can gently Bonk people >:] i mostly spent the day chillin' with friends, but my local public library has craft nights on thursday so i also wore my costume there ⛓️⚔️🖤
