How to know for sure that self camping is allowed or not. I have heard that in many places of India camping is banned by administration. How do you guys find about these details??

Hi, Himachal is my native place, I have idea about places near to my home, no restrictions here. More popular places may have restrictions. You can confirm from local Hotel staff/travel guides about restrictions.. also there are many travel pages in Instagram/Facebook where you can post your queries..

It's a long Trek from Pajaund village, look for Garaman village on maps, Pajaund is 4-5km from Garaman village. You can reach there through Barot road, link for Garaman village seperates 12kms before Barot town (Tikken). Kindly check with any guide or expert before proceeding, since it's a difficult trekk and conditions at Lake are very cold and difficult. By now snowfall would be there, also there won't be any kind of medical/emergency facility, one has to reach down to Pajaund village for any help..
