amen. There is nothing to add to that. The car is ideal as a daily driver. Just as you wrote - it is economical, super comfortable to drive and very reliable. And by the way, it also looks better than any modern car😅

thank you for the nice comment. I wish you a happy new year. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure about the green light myself🫣 when I bought the car, the entire dashboard lighting was broken. So I removed the instrument cluster and rewired some of it, replaced the potentiometer and installed new lamps. The light that lights up in the lower right cluster was loose in the dashboard when I bought the car. I then plugged it into the lower right of the cluster, but to be honest I don't know if it was the original place, because as I said, it was loose in the dashboard when I bought it. I THINK it's a control light for the exterior lighting, but I'm not sure🫣

@@domasch3khello and happy new year to you too. Thanks for your kind reply. I am also a W123 enthusiast (I have a 1984 C123 (Coupe)). Regarding the green light, I honestly believe it does not belong to that instrument cluster, it has no reason to be there, unless it was added in a successive moment (function not clear). There should be no symbol shown in that position, I could eventually think that the wire was meant to be connected elsewhere maybe. Just trying to help. Take care. Horia

If the engine sounds unusual or unhealthy, I would be cautious🤔 I would definitely recommend a mineral oil. Synthetic oils are generally not very suitable for old engines. 10w40 is definitely a good choice, I think
