Funfact: you can find use for Shadowmeld even as a rogue. It have separate cooldown with Stealth, so if you have lost Stealth becouse of dot or fall damage - you can pop Shadowmeld and wait for Stealth cooldown and reactivate it. Just macro it to use SM if regular Stealth is on cooldown, it helped me few times to not agro mobs after the fall. +you can macro Sap + stopcasting - Shadowmeld, so you will enter Shadowmeld, after losing Stealth becouse of Sap. It will not help against mobs, but do works against players.

0:18 it's actually 7/5 because each point is = to 3 points So 5 points = 1 level higher stealth 5/5 Dep grants 15/15 = 3 levels higher stealth Nightelf is 20/15 = 4 levels higher in stealth

i played all races.. all classes i cleard naxx 2005.. if you want to pvp + extra steal levle is a Huge advantage if you wana own other stealth classes yoiu basicly see them before they see you, you wil walwys get off the first kidney

But for PvE Humans are much better. +5 skill to swords means you hit like a level 61 basically, it matters a lot vs BOSS fights. Also Dwarf have stoneform which breaks blind, bleeds, diseases and other poisons. Gnomes have Escape artist which removes them out of any root or slow, you think the other 3 alliance races have worse racials than this niche NE racial? Imo NE have the worst racials out of all Alliance races for Rogues. And most other classes also. But they have the best animations so it's one or the other.

Nah, I completely agree that Dwarves can trump Nelves and I say to my friends all the time when they say I should roll Dwarf that I just prefer the Nelf aesthetic, this video is half troll/half truth because being a nelf does have it perks and honestly if I didn't prefer them aesthetically I'd roll dwarf for stoneform. The human sword perk definitely has its benefits in PvE too. I'm glad you commented so I could clear this up cause I know that technically the title and context of this video is incorrect from a mechanical standpoint and I've been meaning to do a followup video just to elaborate a bit more and go into why Dwarf is better but I prefer nelf. Shadowmeld can also be used to vanish spells. This is something hardly known but I've experienced a lot of talented nelf hunters and boomies shadowmelding a lava burst or other spell.

u cannot use Shadowmeld in combat. Pretty useless on vanilla.

I go dwarf for Find Treasure. Yeah, I like it that much. It's especially good on a rogue because of stealth. You can beat everyone to the chest.

You can also use dwarf racial to cancel blind, bleeds and poisons. Dwarf is actually BiS for PvP.

And agility is the most important for rogues in attributes. Night elves have highest agility I believe dwarfs have the lowest agility i believe. @@chasepineda2585 dwarf v night elf - night elf wins everytime because the night elf looks better, which means deep down your character knows it has a higher sense of self worth. this means it will fight harder than a dwarf would. plus they have a higher agility count if I'm not mistaken. along with a higher stealth level. dwarf are just disgusting. they can have their stoneform all they like but once they pop it and you vanish and they can't see you, what they got then? nothing son nelf > dwarf seriously if you go dwarf you will regret that shit

i admit nelf is strong but even when you get the opener, vs dwarfs and orcs they have the upper hand, vs drawf your blind will do nothing, vs orcs they can resist one of your stuns and its even.. so id say orc is undisputed best class for rogue isnt it second dwarf

@@thevlaka 4 years late, but night elf racial improves your stealth by +1, you don’t need to use Shadowmeld skill, you just use the skill when you want to eat and get to restealth quickly

I personally just don’t like how they looks. I prefer dwarves for pvp, your hardest fights as a rogue are against warriors and hunters and stoneform helps a lot with this.
