The way I love this car. And the engine sound is amazing. I absolutely love the sound of a 6 cylinder diesel at idle. It sounds so strong and purposeful. Best sound ever. It sounds strong but refined. I can't explain it but I absolutely love it.

I love the v6 diesel but this is a little too rough for me. See the LION from Ford/JLR is proper but this has a good turbo sound when you pull it🙂

@@sebuwam This Mazda is a straight 6 diesel. The sound is so cool at idle. It's like a blub blub sound. It's deep. It's so perfect. I like it because you can hear it sounds strong yet is a refined kind of strong. For example, a base X3 or GLC diesel both has 2 litre 4 cylinder diesels. Listen to those at idle. They sound so rough and unrefined. So agricultural. And when revving, not very refined. But a 6 cylinder diesel sounds a whole lot better than a 4 cylinder one. The JLR one also sounds nice but I prefer hearing it's a diesel...just a 6 cylinder one. Difficult to explain.

Honestly it is worth a million, this engine is all we needed in a Mazda, it is a torque converter but I find it to do its job only when you slowing down to stop the i-stop disturbs it somehow. They did a good job overall ey!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙂

Demtumza my brother. 🙂🙏🏽 I hear you on the engine eish but there is this sound from the 6 cylinder in the Ford/BMW it is seamless and sound like its effortless in its operation. On performance though it punches and once you pull it harder it makes amazing turbo noises this one. Thanks a lot brother, I am working on the main review🙂🙏🏽

I have a CX5 and it’s an excellent vehicle for the price with Mazda build quality ticking boxes however this is the real deal. That 3.3ltr engine, the growl, the slow ageing looks, the sound system, road presence - it commands that “have you seen me” attention in a special way that you don’t always quite get with a BMW x3 or GLE etc… because the latter are so familiar …

I don’t really have issues with the engine sound, because a Diesel engine is a Diesel engine at the end of the day. But Mazda has the best bose sound system set up and what a great package.

My pick in this segment is the X3 20d but man, between the XC60 and CX-60 - I'm torn 😫 😅 they look stunning. In terms of the engine sound, it's a large-capacity diesel engine with a straight 6 in-line layout, these tend to be a bit loud, they better ask BMW how to do it 😂 I bet they will refine it with later generations though

Yah its mostly smooth on the move, unless when on Sport mode it does not feel like its changing down till you get to a stop or pick up the speed again. Overall, what a car👌🏾

Mazda3 Astina without a doubt. I did not drive the GT but the normal one (1.5). I have driven the Astina and I know I would not sacrifice it for Omoda C5😭

Tried CX60 diesel. The excellent car. Except for the seats. With such seats there is nothing to do in the premium segment. Why can Volvo, Lexus or BMW do this, but Mazda can't? They didn't do a good job.
