Very cool . . I was trying to do that this summer one night. Kept getting snagged on the bottom.
@ChrisKingAngling14 күн бұрын
Some areas are way less snaggy than others. I've lost my share of jigs over the years too.

Hey chris, great video as usual; Slayed those walleye! Im curious how late at night is this?
@ChrisKingAngling14 күн бұрын
Anytime after dark works. The schools cruise the shoreline looking for sculpin and juvenile fish.

Hey Chris, what a night. Just 3 questions, What time of year is this? Is that a Castlegar? Does it matter what time of night? I'm so excited watching this! Wow! I've done a lot of walleye fishing back east and did well but this is fantastic. Another great video. Thanks
@ChrisKingAngling14 күн бұрын
That was January 6th. Yeah, Castlegar. But it works no matter where you fish on the Columbia. Anytime after dark.

What part of Columbia are you fishing. Good Job

I'm curious Chris...is angling for walleye on the Columbia after dark effective all year round, or just in the colder months?
@ChrisKingAngling9 күн бұрын
Year round, but better from May to December.

16 daily limit are they trying to thin them out
@northleftdirt112215 күн бұрын
Considered invasive in bc, hi limits just like perch and bass
@ChrisKingAngling15 күн бұрын
We will never put a dent in the population. They've been well established since they were introduced in the 80's. Honestly, I don't know why there is a limit since they are an invasive species. I think it's because they are a big draw for anglers from all over.

@@ChrisKingAngling Not sure where you are on the Columbia but here in Oregon and Washington there is no limit!
