So to replace the missing glass, wouldn't it have been easier to use a clear resin instead of covering up both windows? I'm asking because I have the same kit... Thank you for the great video!

Not many people is interested in these old traditional unassembled ones anymore easily to be broken. Majority preferred diecast metal alloy, they more durable and way better looking as well as no need to place stickers on them afterwards when assembled is done.
