@@logicali9575 I make all of my lamps with a base and put a battery box and switch in the base. This way you don't have any cord at all, and you can position the lamp anywhere. I'm sure there are other creative ways to hide this cord, but this way eliminates it entirely.

In a small project like this a blow torch will do just fine , or there is a special spray that you spray it over just after you pour your resin

That is not cream that is buffing paste. It comes under 2000-3000 grit size. Easily you get in stores
